I'm sorry this video took so long to get out, but as you guys can see, there's some really good testing here! I hope you guys enjoy it and let me know if you guys want to see more videos like this! (:
The durations helps a lot, when the AQ gets distracted from a target she is shooting, because an enemy hero or cc troop attacks her. Having the original target slowed for a few seconds, helps a lot, until she can retarget it, after killing the hero etc..
Yup the thing frozen arrow is most effective against is town hall, single target inferno, CC troops, enemy heroes, and sudden distractions. It’s a game changer if you use it right as it can save you a bunch of spells in a Queen charge.
I have a lvl 26 Frozen arrow and lvl 24 arrow in 2nd lvl 17 arrow is other acc ..I know there is huge difference between 17 and 26 ... Sometimes my queen is the last surviver and she also takes out ricochet cannon scatter and single inferno ....scatter didn't even hit her once due to slow down
My QC root rider attacks are MUCH easier with my level 23 Frozen arrow. Especially if you are charging into heroes. The only thing you have to make sure, is that you don't let her get low enough to auto fire the ability, because that leaves her at zero hps, until the healers can get her back.
I'm not too sure on your testing methodology. Cannons don't have much hp for the Queen's damage so it is harder to see the differences in slow down rate. You should try with an xbow or the town hall for example. Another thing is that to test the effective slow down rate you have to start the timer from the point the defense is slowed down. You also don't need to have multiple defenses attacking the Queen unless you want to test auto ability. One other thing is what you mentioned with the break points. The most important levels are indeed the ones with break points, however the rest still matter when you consider that the Queen is not the only unit dealing damage in an attack.
Id rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have it. But this also a channel that advocates rushing so its about what'd I expect from ya. The arrow does help with Q charges and even smash attacks.
For a casual player it's not as epic as the giant gauntlet or a must have like the eternal tome. It's primarily for queen charges, it's definitely not gonna beat the invisibility vial which is a "common" equipment and a must have. If only it have a feature that gets better the more we upgrade, something like the more she shoot the same building the faster her attack speed go like (10%-45%) attack speed and have the freezing effect 1 second as default. That's more usefull than 1/2/3 seconds of effects.
I'd prefer an attack speed increase after each attack which would reset if she stops attacking for about 2s. Attack speed increase on the same target wouldn't be as valuable except she's attacking the King, Town Hall or walls
Bro I download game after 1.5 year I'm a th 12 f2p player when I came in game i saw these equipments in trader shop i only have 1500 gems right now so what should I purchase giant gauntlet or frozen arrow which would worth it and help me more
It's not as good for queen charge players as one might expect as queen now becomes more susceptible to dying through her ability as the equipment doesn't provide health regeneration and well it's happening with me quite often as after taking out some key targets using qc I start to focus on main army deployment which leads to my queen getting knocked out. It has become more of a liability. It definitely has changed my perception about Archer puppet for sure. Would love to see a order priority for queen's equipment upgrade from your side.
Yes, it loses on so much HP, Healers puppet gives a whooping 1k and Giant Arrow 500hp, Frozen Arrow is mid af. Not even best at what we thought it'd be.
@@PWN18yeah that’s what I hate as soon as she turns invisible the healers get targeted. If I do archer spawn they all die so fast so it’s not really that good of options if u want to use the healers or invisible vial. What do u use ? The other arrow sucks u have to face the certain way to make it worth it and could pull trigger facing wrong way.
I mean it kinda depends. I had my heros max when the update came out so i had the standart equipments level 15. I now have everything that i use level 17 or 18. The limiting factor for me is the glowy ore. Now, i could upgrade my frozen to level 18 or i could upgrade something else to 18. If i upgrade something else to level 18 i´m done with that ability, but if i upgrade the frozen arrow to 18 i can then also upgrade it to level 19 and 20 since i have enough shiny ore. The value of those 3 levels might be greater than upgrading the invis vial to 18 for example. This reasoning obviouly only makes sense if you already have everything you need on level 17 or 18, but for those of you who do have everything on level 17 or 18 it´s definately something to think about.
U just saved 1000 glowy ores of mine!!!! I was abt to invest in frozen arrow rather than giant gauntlet and now im switching back to giant gauntlet! Thnkss
For me it’s different, to me the vampstash and rage is better with my attack strategy than running the gauntlet. So I’m still maxing the frozen arrow because I’m a queen charger lavaloon attacker.
@@2stplace Bro I'm th 12 player I don't have any special equipment but i have 1500 gems so which should I purchase giant gauntlet or frozen arrow please tell me guys
I agree this equipment is for QC players.. And one perfect scenario you can see the benefit of frozen arrown is when your QC attacks the defensive heroes..
This equipment should do great if it's given to the grand warden's passive epic equipment that slow nearby defences in warden's aura range (frozen vial/aura)
It’s worth it to note, although the frozen arrow may help with dealing with heroes, cc troops and defense on a queen walk, it also makes your queen die significantly more often if the ability goes off on its own (compared to the archer puppet) because you get no added health recovery when ability pops
Got mine at level 12 and it's already feeling pretty good lol. Just came back after a year of not playing so I'm very new to this hero equipment stuff. I'm a brand new TH 14 so all my old gear is at level 13 (besides my poor king who was at level 73 when i left, so his stuff is at level 12). It's pretty interesting how most of the arrow's utility is unlocked at level 9, so I may as well stop at 12 and upgrade the eternal tome?
How was the data collected for the brake point chart (at 7:20), what level queen and building and what other equipment was used. Becous if we asume max levels, it seam like the chart was made using dps values and not damage per hit values. This makes it a chart of how many second it takes to dectroy building withs ins not wery useful as she doesent have a 1 second hit speed. You can even see at 5:50 it takes 15 hits for a max queen to defeat a level 16 th, (more than the maximum on the chart). Although this might not be the case as then the scather shoot would have its brake point first at level 10 forzen arrow.
Thanks for your break downs! I’m curious how using the frosty with the healer puppet and invisibility vial would match up against the unicorn with the frozen arrow and invisibility vial.
That's a really good point. The new hero equipment and their different advantages do then make certain pet and hero combinations more or less interesting to use
That's why upgraded frozen arrow to lvl 16 only and dumped ores in giant gauntlet to lvl 25 and in healing tome or rage gem lvl 17 with eternal tome maxed to lvl 18 that's very useful for my main army against th15-16 root riders+ Valkyrie attack +raged barbs
5:50 for continuous dmg defences you could try measuring based on how much dmg the archer queen takes. Test to see how long a defence takes to defeat her without the Frozen arrow equipped. Next measure by how long her life is prolonged when Frozen Arrow is equipped. If she kills the tower before it kills her then measure by damage she took and compare the damage taken with and without the Frozen Arrow. Hope this helps 😊
50% to 75% slowdown is doubling the effectiveness so you take half the damage you normally would which definitely cannot be ignore Also the duration helps a lot with skeleton traps and defending heroes which the queen charge will deal with at least one of in most attacks
keep in mind you can combo the arrow with the archer puppets for crazy dps increase, might be worth it to look at the break points for that combination
5:50 the "continuous damage" buildings aren't actually continuous. They actually fire projectiles that deal a set amount of damage, so test it as you would test, say an X-bow.
If you drop your queen behind your main push for support, I would give the frozen arrow a try. I do something similar at Townhall 15 and she works great at Sloan down major defenses. But if you use her to funnel, then I would recommend the healer puppet instead. It really depends on what you want your queen to do.
I think for testing infernos with continuous damage, they work by a principal of each tick of attack every 0.128 seconds, so a 50% speed reduction should make the ticks 0.256 seconds apart and a 75% slowdown makes it 0.512sec per tick, the inconsistency in testing could be due to differences in which tick the inferno was on before being Targeted by the queen. The next part is just a hypothesis that the inferno charging up works in a way that after 11 ticks (1.5sec)at stage 1 it moves to stage 2 on the 12th tick and so on for stage 3, hence the inconsistency.
I feel like the queen. Has weak hero equipment, this one was nice for the queen because really her invisibility is the only thing going for her. Frozen arrow really helps when queen is last alive.
You have interesting and diverse metods of testing and measuring wide range of factors. I especially like your point about "break points" (7:20). Do you have any educational background for measurements or calculations?
Already my Invisibility vial is maxed. And Giant Gauntlet is at level 20. I have enough ores to make Frozen arrow level 20. Should i invest in arrow or in Giant Gauntlet? Im a Th 15 player and i do ground attacks only.
Good video! But you forgot to mention 2 very important things in favor of the Frozen Arrow: 1. Since the Frozen Arrow is a passive equipment and therefore doesn’t have an active ability, it is as of now by far the best equipment to use with other equipments that needs to be used early such as the Giant Arrow or the Healer Puppet because you still get the full value of the Frozen Arrow while your Invisibility Vial would be wasted for example. Giant Arrow and Healer Puppet are situational equipments but for those who want to use them it’s still pretty important to know. 2. The slow effect of the Frozen Arrow is actually scaling exponentially which gives it a bit more value for later upgrades. It’s the same principle as the Giant Gauntlet, since we are slowing down DPS, the number are actually reversed: a 30% slow means 70% DPS for exemple and if you go from 70% to 65% DPS (30 -> 35 slow) the difference is way smaller than from 30% to 25% DPS (70 -> 75 slow). The first is 1/14 reduction and the second is a 1/6 reduction. All of this is still not that impactful since we can slow only one defense at a time but it’s still worth noticing. In the end I still think that what has been mentioned in the video is very true, the Frozen Arrow is really expensive to max out for the benefits of it and for casual players they should focus on maxing out Eternal Tome, Giant Gauntlet and probably Invisibility Vial and Healing Tome as well before but Frozen Arrow is still very strong and is a very versatile equipment that still gives you good value if you put ressources into it!
It is a good video but you skip the war enviroment. You always have heroes and skeletons distracting the queen. My quuen has lvl20 frozen arrow and i will max it out. Because AQ can kill enemy King without head hunter thats a game changer. I understand and appreciate your effort and love your videos but after maxing out the warden skills every player should focus on Frozen arrow for now period:D
I've been watching pro players and I really like the playstyle of attacks where they pare the frozen arrow with the healer puppet. I think this is going to be my main queen walk combo
To test town hall damage you could place queen with a supporting troop with moderate health pool, like a bowler, and have them both attacking town hall then calculate the difference in how long it takes bowler to die with and without frozen effect.
this is still good to pair with invi. ofcourse after u max out eternal tome. ricochet and new archer tower kills queen and her pet fast! my queennliterally blasting these new defenses of with frozen arrow
the breakpoints will vary with the second equipment. Some mad lads like Itzu and Trample Damage will pair with Giant Arrow for extra damage and hp and recall her when she's overwhelmed.
I only get equipment to level 18. I think it’s more beneficial to have multiple equipment combos available for war and for my sanity to switch it up every now and then. That being said I only have a level 18 Gauntlet, 18 Frozen arrow, and 18 Eternal Tome
Yeah the frozen arrow should have been about keeping the AQ alive rather than dps. They could remove the damage and duration with attack speed and more hp
To be honest, it is perfect that the frozen arrow isn’t perfect because that would give more clashers more opportunities and more varieties of equipment. I think it’s a great idea that it’s not too good. I think it was intentionally meant like there’s so crashers. Don’t just stick on the frozen arrow. The developers might’ve looked at the giant Gotland see how people didn’t use the earthquake boots or the vampstash as much! But let’s be honest it’s a freaking frozen arrow but yeah it does help majority of the tags, but there will be some very delicate situation where you’ll realize the Arrow didn’t help. If u ask me it’s okay again that it’s not perfect, leaves room for improvement and room for variety that’s just my opinion🫶 Much Love my clashers and clash on⚔️
Bd i have maxed eternal tome rn which equipments to Max next frozen arrow lv 1 or invisible vial lv 14 I have rn and gauntlet is at lv 12 seeking shield is at 12

Yeah guessed it, frozen arrow isn't good unless queen charging, when i inlocked i immediately made it to 17 and no regeneration of health hurts, and the frozen effect doesn't help much in smash attacks, archer puppet is fine. I'll instead max the gauntlet, it's the best hero equipment by far. Btw, it must've been hard to make this video with so much research going on it, appreciate the deep insight.

this is still good to pair with invi. ofcourse after u max out eternal tome. ricochet and new archer tower kills queen and her pet fast! my queennliterally blasting these new defenses of with frozen arrow
the breakpoints will vary with the second equipment. Some mad lads like Itzu and Trample Damage will pair with Giant Arrow for extra damage and hp and recall her when she's overwhelmed.
I thought the same and stopped at level 14 and didn’t want to spend anymore glowy and starry ores.
Great video 🔥
on testing damage from th, maybe placing a single giant after the beam is active and measure ttk the giant
Is the breakpoint chart same for every townhall level? or only for th16’s?
I only get equipment to level 18. I think it’s more beneficial to have multiple equipment combos available for war and for my sanity to switch it up every now and then. That being said I only have a level 18 Gauntlet, 18 Frozen arrow, and 18 Eternal Tome
Thank you so much for the guidance... but unlucky of me i spent all of my ores on frozen arrow before your update...
Why doesn't supercell add a testing area where we can see damage number so we can more accurately track these things? It's always bugged me.
Best equipment for queen for now!!
Not even close
Yeah the frozen arrow should have been about keeping the AQ alive rather than dps. They could remove the damage and duration with attack speed and more hp
Whats the best equipment together with the frozen arrow to use?
Healer puppet
What’s with the MSU shirt? I thought you were a wolverine?😅😅 amazing vid❤❤
Hmm should we even buy the frozen arrow in the first place then?
It lacks healing which makes it bad for attacks with no queen walk
If u ask me it’s okay again that it’s not perfect, leaves room for improvement and room for variety that’s just my opinion🫶 Much Love my clashers and clash on⚔️
bro you went to michigan state nice
Bd i have maxed eternal tome rn which equipments to Max next frozen arrow lv 1 or invisible vial lv 14 I have rn and gauntlet is at lv 12 seeking shield is at 12
gauntlet to lvl 18
Gauntlet and healing tome, then invisibility vial
why did you make the video after I bought it
You TH-camrs are something else man…one moment every single one of you is racing to release videos saying “this is the absolute latest and greatest and everyone should be using it”. The next you are all releasing videos saying the exact opposite.
Did the exact same with the giant arrow.
And with the vamp stache (I actually think it’s good though)
I though epic frozen arrow could hit more target with a single attack
for queen charge frozen arrow or magic mirror, which one should i go first
When do you think ruffly frozen arrow will be back so we can buy??
it's now available in the trader for 1500 gems
guys you need to subscribe to blueprint because he uploads early and regularly, good thing i watch his videos first, i only upgraded my frozen arrow only to level 5.
I have saved ores now let me see what to Max
Use it for eternal tomb or healer puppet . In healer puppet max level you will get 3 level 8 healers ...
@@Bombastic_ronnythose puppet healers heal half the hp a max unicorn does. So, it's not actually equal to lvl 8 healers.
Its so Worth for me, i love qc, i have it already 21, but i didnt had ores saved up sadly
I'm just letting it stay at 18, glowy ores are fucking expensive af
hot take:
half of the equipment are just time and resources sinks..
SC is simply finding ways to keep players busy
i needed this 10 days ago sir
Yeah guessed it, frozen arrow isn't good unless queen charging, when i inlocked i immediately made it to 17 and no regeneration of health hurts, and the frozen effect doesn't help much in smash attacks, archer puppet is fine. I'll instead max the gauntlet, it's the best hero equipment by far. Btw, it must've been hard to make this video with so much research going on it, appreciate the deep insight.
i like the healer puppet more than this
Thanks!!
I didnt even bought it ..
You motherhubber I already bought it😢😢😢
its a big use for QC, and its really disadvantage of you if you do not know how play QC and how to control it. For me its fine and its carry too using spam attack. Its up to you if you love frozen arrow or not, but i dont care if you do not like it .
