I have fine hair. Ucuuba works great for me with twists and has healing and growth properties. Some of those butters you have are for sealing and some penetrate. Depends on what you are trying to accomplish

Tucuma butter is so great for dry hair. Wether it's from dying your hair or just normal dry coily hair. Tucuma is best for leave in conditioner with hot cap treatment and rinse out. It's amazing for all textures of hair.

Mix your buyers to balance them out and you'll have the perfect hair cream. I used those on my hair and my hair has grown and thickened my hair and my once thin ends.

I have been using mango butter mixed with shea butter. It spreads easier and seals moisture better. I may branch out to other butters based on your trial here. 😊

I have a formula I mixed after trail and error lol
My hair is high porosity, hum 4A-B.. at my shoulders medium not thick but very full
Jamaica black castor oil brand Sunny Isle
    Jojoba brand NOW
    Avocado oil by Now
    Sweet Almond oil Now
Cupuaqu butter by rain forrest chica
    Avocado butter by chica
    Murumuru by chica
    Bacuri by chica
    Brazil nut oil by chica
Emo oil local herb girl in Philly
Rosemary, lavender essentially oil by Now
I think that's it and I can use it on my hair and body.
I removed coconut and olive oils cause it was weighing my hair down.
I just did a hot oil treatment with Avocado, jojoba and castor oils

I make DIY grooming & bath products for my family. I brought the murumuru butter & never used it til now for my girls. I’m glad I did it worked so well for my youngest not so well for the older one as I think it’s because her hair is a lot finer. They were really upset with me for the odor though. Do you know if they have it in a refined form?

Hey gurl, love the music. Is it original? Which butter do you like? I use whipped coconut oil free mango butter from BGLH. My hair is super soft, coils defined. It sound like the Tucuma butter may be a better option. I am leary about trying because I need gluten free. Also, I am severely allergic the the Shea nut, and I do not know if the Tucuma butter is similar to the Shea. Any thoughts?

    • @sammaree7933
      @sammaree7933 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

People are generally allergic to Shea and Cocoa butter due to their latex content (which is not found in tucuma). You might find this article interesting, it contains info about amazonian butters and their fatty acid profiles 😊.
