I like thick chili as well Rusty! Great idea to use salsa! There’s so many different ways to make chili. I will definitely try this as it is easy like you said. Thank you! Hope you’re doing well. 🤗🍂🍁

Hello my friend. I love some Chilli bean's.. I like to use taco seasoning at times, I use salsa to, I never tried it with ground turkey & ground beef but I will be trying it. Thank you for sharing another great recipe. I 'm glad your doing better. May Yahweh bless you always..

I love seeing how other people make their chili. I have used only ground turkey in my chili since the late 1970's as it was so much less expensive. No one ever noticed the difference. A few years ago I was at my dad's and he asked me to make chili. As my step mother was on her second bowl after telling me how delicious it was she said " I don't like chili made with ground turkey. ( dad had probably told her at some time I use turkey." Dad looked at her and said " what do you think your eating?" She was shocked it was turkey. The area where I live in Illinois they made the worse chili ever to me but they all love it. They add at least a pound of suet and the grease inches think sitting on it. A great twist using salsa. Thanks for posting this Rusty!

@@theozarkduke I was in the pantry today and saw I have a jar of salsa so I'll try it this Sunday for sure. I'm on and off the computer at different times everyday. Sometimes it is mid to late afternoon before I get on. I came back to have my daughter watch the video.

Hi Rusty. It has finally cooled down here so chili sounds great to me with corn bread. Maybe next weekend.

My chili seasoning is Old El paso taco seasoning. People think that's odd but we like it. Definitely thick chili. I grew up with thin chili that was hot hot hot and I never could get used to it. When I grew up I tried different ways of making chili and found myself without my usual seasoning but with the taco seasoning so I used it and never went back. Are you feeling better Rusty?

i never could eat chili, it always gave me heartburn. and always seem to hot for me i hate hot peppers of any kind.so i came up with this and its was good and never went back.i am feeling better but now its getting back in the move cause i been down so long every thing was left undone. so now its a race to mowe one last time to get every thing cleaned up and put away for winter. with the wind storms its been hard getting outside ready.

The chili is on simmer. I was looking to see of you posted the cornbread yet but alas you have not been able to so I'll resort to good old Jiffy. LOL. The chili smells so good I can't wait to have a bowl.
