I think it’s just a thing of learning how to hit higher octaves correctly, it feels like she’s not using her vocal cords to her fullest potential, she could probably be great with some training
I have a similar problem (IMO) in a lot of senses, for some reason my throat just gets "gunked up" really easily and it's stopped me from ever being able to sing properly. Her singing sounds really similar to mine in a lot of ways at the very least and I know that's a problem that I've had. Never talked to a vocal coach or doctor thoroughly about it though as it's never been a huge problem for me in my life.
