That’s not a gusset - definitely a crotch lining. I do agree that I wouldn’t use lace for a crotch lining. The biggest problem is the seam right smack dab in the center of the crotch. Seamless?

Some consider it a foreign term, but everyone is curious about it on laundry day. What is it for? The gusset is like the lungs for your underwear, allowing air to flow to and from your delicate lady parts. Literally, a breath of fresh air if you will.
Gussets allow for more space in a garment. That’s not what’s happening here. Adding a liner allows for the use of a different fabric that would be more comfortable (& sometimes more absorbent) against sensitive body parts. Do you have a reference for your definition? I can provide one if you would like.
Hi how does you're pattern has 123 as the one I downloaded from you're website starts with 2345 I take it that is folded when it starts from there . Because 1 has only the measurement chart. What one is the smallest one
Just wondering if anyone else had a problem finding the pattern. I clicked on the link which no longer worked so I tried to do an internet search for the pattern and ended up on a blog that seemed to match this video, however, when I clicked on the link to the pattern it led me to a site that alerted me that a trojan spyware was found on my computer that has been accused for being used to steal identity and stated that my computer was now locked and I would need to call microsoft to unlock it and to not turn off or restart my computer because that would allow the spyware to remain on my computer stealing my identity. I did another internet search and found out on the microsoft website that this was a scam and that if you called the number they would certainly steal your identity by doing so and that you were safe to turn off your computer. I managed to close web browser using the end task command and reloaded my browser, deleting the offending website from browsing history and reloading other pages. Just wanted to warn others and help prevent others from falling for this scam. Hope it helps and if you find the actual pattern, please let me know!? Thank you!

Can I uses 4way stretch cotton instead of lace?
you can! its the same thing just try not to use a cotton fabric that frays at the ends:)
You can! I recommend an ITY jersey so you don't have to worry about fraying. It's also super soft.

Is the lace not fraying out at the sides where you cut it??
Lace like this will not and things like jersey will never.
They eventually rip when they arent finished. Best to use stretch lace with both sides finished e.g. 8" wide lace
