- Abdul Saeed Chaudhary (Gujjar) is the most senior practicing lawyer of Bahawalpur Bar. He is an eyewitness of events that took place in 1947 at the time of India Pakistan partition. he left his birthplace village Dangauli/Dangoli situated in district Rupnagar at the age of 12 years. His story is also published in a renowned book "The Punjab Bloodied, Partitioned and Cleansed" by Ishtiaq Ahmed. This book was published by a publisher in Dehli in 2011.
Desi Infotainer is a Pakistani Punjabi TH-cam channel. We are covering the history, culture, and heritage of Punjab. The people of both Punjab are our target audience. We want to elaborate on the positive aspects of Pakistani society which is, unfortunately, not being shown on mainstream media. My Grandmother and Taya were also in kurali camp who live there for 120 days.
The mango garden was of a Hindu.
The mango garden was close to Kurali Railways Station.
Our village was 4 km from Kurali Camp.

Great interviewer Chahoun sahib. I urge Indian and Pakistan Governments to allow every single surviving person to visit, see his/her native or birth places they left in 1947 during the partition of India.
I doubt this will happen in near future with Modi in power, not that i am blaming him for everything but the gentleman's politics revolves around hatred towards its neighbours, perhaps a few more years and the remaining generation of pre partition era will be no more with us. Old people from both sides just want to see a glimpse of their birth places but the tensions between 2 countries is a big hurdle.

My Grandparents were Gujjar Chauhan from Sadabarat Ropar. Maybe they all knew each other and probably same blood line which not documented well unfortunately. The Punjabi of that area is v unique and his dialect makes me feel I am listening to one of my older relatives. Amazing Great job documenting this otherwise most of stories which almost same we heard from our relatives would lost in time, many already did of a migration that is unprecedented and not many in world witnessed loosing lots of loved ones, so so many tragic and interesting stories. I would say my grandparents remembered their ancestor land in good words unfortunately never got visit.

My family moved from Pakistan and my in laws were in india. I have heard the stories from both sides.my fathers Muslim friends guarded his kafla against their own peoples will. I have tons of stories from both sides. That is why verbal history is very important.

Excellent work of Collecting Partition based memories by those persons who faced the problems and challenges at that unfortunate time. Vakil saheb is still very active and fit in this time also he is educated person , his narrative of incidents was based on social and political correctness at that time , I wish, one more interview is needed to cover up his precious memories. I also belong to District Ropar and I have been visited Village Dangoli twice in my life now I live in Delhi.. Thanks to Khayyam saheb for your hard working behind to cover up these stories.
