I haven’t been able to emotionally “feel” much in the past few months- but my heart jumped when I saw that you had a new painting. And hearing you again, I actually FELT excited about painting. I’m only in to this video 3:16 but as soon as you flipped the painting I could see a shadowy and spooky form of a haunted house lost the the fog. It sits at midline. This is so cool. I hope you can see it!

Loving the roses to your right 💜 I really love how your inspiration paintings works as a mentally deep and important therapy sessions too, about self love, self respect, to value yourself and the things you are good at, that we all are special. Watching you has never been just about painting for me, it´s been about grounding myself, appreciation and being kind to yourself, I have gotten more from you in that perspective than from years of therapy, AND I have grown as an artist as a plus :) 💜 I´m so grateful that you are sharing this mindset, a very healthy mindset, not only when it comes to painting, but things we can apply in general in our lives, it´s ok to "fail" (I use that term loosely since I don´t believe in the word, it´s just a path you might not have been expected) that´s how we learn, but never give up! Jane, I’ve watched this video several times and tried to follow but I even screw up the background. I’ve been working on it a couple of weeks. I hate feeling frustrated so I’ve quit for the night. Tomorrow I’ll get back to it I plan to wing it and do my own thing. I enjoy watching your videos and you’re so talent. I thank you for the tips on how to find me own creativity. I think art should be relaxing and fun.

As you were painting the beam of bright heading down to the ground I envisioned a spectre of sorts reaching down towards ground w flowing veils coming out of the misty nite...as you kept painting...I just kept seeing(in my mind) so many scenarios...of what was going on...the finished painting made me wonder why this ghost bride haunted this wooded path...what was lost...what was she searching for...GREAT PAINTING

I am so glad I found you. I have been doing a course for the last six months that’s supposed to be teaching me how to be able to become a professional artist in a year… And I’ll tell you what, I have really learnt absolutely nothing valuable, especially with acrylics. They have been challenging.
This year has been difficult for me too. It’s really messed w my bipolar. Because I’ve not gone outside as much I’ve been manic most of the summer which isn’t good bc I cannot focus or make good decisions. Usually in the winter I go into the low side of bipolar bc of lack of sun n short daylight. I’m so glad you’re back you have a very calming effect on me. I just loved Shadows on the Page! The stories and especially your paintings!
I love how you gradually built the figure. I’m always one to try to render the object immediately but this way is so much better and gives so much mor depth and emotion to it. I love you’re channel!🎃
Love love love this! I would love to see you do a painting again to prove your point that the same picture would look totally different even by your own hand. I find myself fussing when my painting looks so different than the one I've had inspiration from. I'm a total beginner and feel like I'm doing something wrong when I go too far from the original.
I like the ghostly figure idea. How about a painting of a very large overwhelmingly intimidating spider w a web and a small figure in the corner or w it’s back to the spider? I think that would be good in black n white w ultramarine blue highlights on a shiny spider.
