Yeah, Barbaracle puts the "monster" in Pokemon. When I was battling a friend I sent it out and they literally said "What is that monstrosity!?" It was quite satisfying...

Hah it hasn't quite been that long. The idea came about maybe six months ago when I realized 100k was coming, and I workshopped some initial lyrics (the Alolan Ninetales/Torkoal line was the first one) But probably around Christmas was when I really buckled down and tried to iron it out...
Hah, go Avalugg! Honestly I didn't have much of a goal starting out, it was just a hobby to do. My family encouraged me to try it after I was shaken by personal tragedy so it was just an outlet to occupy my time. Once I realized I was good at it I got bigger ideas but it was still years before it could replace my full-time job.
I also am a fan of Avalugg. And seeing number 23 was also surprising for me, considering its my favorite Pokemon overall. But i see more and more people liking it.
This was so interesting (and entertaining, nice song), as lots of your favourite pokemon are often overlooked or even disliked by most fans. Let's give some love to avalugg, barbaracle, chesnaught and all the others!
