this game tought me a lot as a complete novice to the series. Didnt know players used the tactical map that much but it makes a lot of sense.

I have a question. As Axis, how do i deal with rangers? In team games especially, they feel invincible. Asking here as i know you're a great player, and also hoping the community is able to assist me :)
Do you play as wehr or DAK? As wehr I build a sniper and if it's a narrow map (ranger favoured) a 2nd HMG. I plant mines on the flanking routes to where I want to play my sniper and keep infantry ahead and on either side of the sniper in a triangle formation spotting for targets and flanks. At vet 1 the sniper can pin a squad for 35 munitions. That can be helpful for making a ranger squad vulnerable to grenades or even being run over. Only need to snipe 7 ranger models for the sniper to pay itself off. Might take a bit of practice getting used to attack moving forwards with the sniper and then backpedalling after each shot and knowing when to retreat, but that goes for sniper play in general. Pgrens, ass grens, and fallschirmjagers are a good combo with this as they can kite and deal a bit of damage to rangers while your sniper shoots them as well as throwing grenades at pinned units. Side note, if you can focus down and kill the captain you'll have an easier time as you'll stop the mortar barrages on your MGs and the sprint / break suppression ability. Nebelwerfer attacking slightly behind suppressed rangers can also be very effective
As DAK I feel it's harder, especially if your opponent gets lucky with the lootboxes and gets bazookas. Could also get double MGs, go mechanized and use double 8rads to deal the actual damage. I've had a rough time trying to use the flakvirling as bazooka rangers can still be a big problem for it and it can be shut down by an AT gun easily. The vet1 on the assault grenadiers is very very powerful and can allow you to deal a lot of damage to rangers when used alongside the rest of your units, especially if you have the infantry upgrade. I've been playing around with battlefield espionage and found that the disruption operation could be very effective against them, especially when they're blobbing. If they just rush you they get their accuracy and sight debuffed steadily up to a maximum of 60%. A vet3 ranger squad with two flamethrowers and two bars loses to a vet 3 assault grenadier that isn't using tactical assault if they charge into close range (like they normally do) with disruption operation active. A walking stuka can also help if you are able to suppress the rangers and of course the tiger can bleed them out if properly supported
Hope that helps, they definitely necessitate a change in strategy when you see them
Mines in general are very efficient against rangers. Also focus firing a single squad at a time is extra important so that you avoid spreading damage around without getting any model drops. Lastly if you’re DAK then using rapid advance to help your tanks kite away from bazookas helps
MGs, mines, Wirbel, Flak etc. A couple of MGs can shut them down pretty hard. Anything that suppresses, slows them or is a specialist at anti-infantry damage.

I was watching imperial Danes video he posted today and in that video toilet guy uses one rifleman squad to capture the fuel and muni point between the middle and bottom flags at the same time. They're spaced just far enough that the distance the rifleman squad spreads out while not in cover reaches both capture zones. I wonder if other units can do the same. Pretty niche but hey.
Havent played since launch but im glad to see that the vehicles dont look so cartoonish now.

Nice match, but what the f*ck is with relic? Its been 2 months without any freaking news! I mean I know they have a tought time, but TWO MONTHS baby, thats way to much time/ Theypromised to release a roadmpa, but still no news.
He should have known he had a really big fuel lead, and still he didn't use his flak as much like if he was afraid of m8 or at gun. Maybe he was afriad of mines, but he had pioneers that could have gotten mine sweepers

Yes, there is definitely a lot of pressure on axis tigers to get wipes, otherwise they can't keep up with the US economy late game.
I don't like infantry assault. It worse than skill planes, it just doesn't not need any micro or whatsoever

I don't really like units that exist outside of the game economy to begin with, but Infantry Assault is way too cheap for what it does.

Loosecable always look so stressed while playing.
Free pushing meatshıeld infantry, LVs fighting Panzer 4s, AT's ez to tame from long range to axis's only answer to fıght wıth Inf. All range ferrari speed main line. Arty can shock heaviest armor. And better logistics...Playing USF Be like...Even Barmen / AT combo to 105 didnt happen.
German player played well, even he had good army composition, Units over all lackluster and expensive at best.

The chaffees weren't doing a good job against the panzer 4s, bounced a lot of shots. It was the AT guns that really did it.
I disagree with your read on the counters available and the axis player's strategy. The axis player was really passive in the midgame. He got an early p4 and assault gren call-in and then barely used the P4. He also never committed to doing something about the howitzer, no deep flank with tanks and minesweepers, no diving it when Tightrope was off the field. Just a couple of incendiary mortar shots from an angle where the mortars were under pressure from infantry. Infantry aren't the only answer to deal with the AT guns. Could have gotten a walking stuka to decrew them during a big push and then destroyed them. Could have dropped smoke across the field during big pushes since Tightrope was constantly attack-moving them
He also built a P3 when the opponent had multiple chaffees and 3 AT guns.
Was an epic game though 👌

@@jdude2175The chaffees should overrun P4s if you go for a proper hunt, direct frontal shots kind of roll dice but I get mostly kills with chaffees with micro to p4s cuz its ez mostly to circle around with chaffees like coh 2 AEC, so many times I get tigers with AEC/AT combo on COH 2.
That passivenes because he probably focus on getting p4 fast and yes it was fast but I thınk he relasied that P4 is not Really spear head on this map due to its target practice nature for AT's.
Getting inf is hard on DAK due to its expensive nature. He also tech fast so probably with armory upgrades he wanted to play passive/safe approach. He could get Leigt for howitzer which u are absolutely right about, going mortars for mostly for team games for DAK. Its just hard to get stuka if you want armor for DAK. Getting tiger mostly not enough same for black prince due to thıs maps type. ATs dominate here so getting inf/indirect push is proper for this map. Mediums only for harrassing flanks here...P3 always a mistake that you couldnt avoid to build :) I always go because I lıke the unit but And always regret that.
