Es por eso que pueden marcar mas goles sobretodo Messi y Cristiano. los defensas de ahora no marcan solo acompañan la jugada (salvo excepciones) es la época del fútbol donde más protejen a los delanteros llámese fifa,uefa,ligas y árbitros corruptos.
Para mí los jugadores de antes 2006 hacia tras son mejores porque no pudieron juzgar con todas las protecciones que los de ahora.

Imo defenders of today are a lot worse at defending, but overall a lot better at build up play. So my conclusion would be that Ronaldo had a much harder time attacking than Messi and Ronaldo. This video is evidence how hard it was to score goals back then compared to today's football.

I’ve seen loads of videos from ronaldo, and most don’t show his best bits. The guy could do everything. And he got kicked to bits and rarely complained. Without that injury I believe he would have been known as the greatest. Most even forget about his goals record. And bare in mind he would pick up the ball all over the pitch.
Yeah, the definition of a striker in the Serie A at that time was like being a superhero. You had to win a whole battle to get the ball on midfield and then fight your way through the remaining 6-8 defenders with maybe one teammate. You had to be strong, smart, speedy, in short skillful.
