Brilliantly written and performed, I absolutely love your channel. Thank you for posting, and I look forward to hearing many more stories and plays. Have a wonderful day-weekend.
Glad you enjoyed it - I've always loved this one. You might enjoy the radio adaptations of 'The Eagle Has Landed' and 'The Eagle Has Flown' that I have on the channel too - Slipstream draws a little bit from both of them in respect of their hero, Kurt Steiner... but I won't say anymore....
What to say ! Fantastic thought provoking, emotionally intelligent drama, wonderful cast all round 👏 ❤🎉😊 thank you so much for uploading! Mystical Magpie.
Second time Listening, and probably not the last. It's hard to say anything other than brilliant. But the Major and his one liners are just, well, the final polish. Radio, imagination, and hours of entertainment. Good egg. Keep finding them for us.
I expect you've already listened to 'The Eagle Has Landed' and 'The Eagle Has Flown, but if you haven't you'd probably like them as they're a clear influence on Slipstream...
It is terrific - because of your comment I'm giving it a relisten right now. The guy who plays Major Barton is starring in a new TV series at the moment, appropriately enough (given my channel name) a sequel to 'The Magpie Murders'...
I'm afraid not. But this drama seems very much inspired by the works of Jack Higgins, and so you might like the radio adaptations of The Eagle Has Landed and The Eagle Has Flown (in particular, the second one features a good guy German paratrooper persuaded to go on a mission for the British, because his father's life is in danger - which sounds familiar, right?). Both plays are on this channel already...
No its fantastic....i often wondered where Germany got such advanced technology from....and of course, only advanced technological beings...would create ships....unable to be used for hostile warmongering maneuverability.....
I do appreciate the feedback - but it's perhaps a little ironic that while what you say may be true of some of my videos, you chose to say this on a video which *definitely does* have a brief synopsis: "In this rather epic series a British commando team is sent into Germany to capture a super-advanced aircraft which in fact may be based on non-terrestrial technology... the ruthless British officer co-opts a captured Luftwaffe pilot to help him, making for all sorts of tensions in the mission..."
Absolutely wonderful production! Love this writer. Love the light genre mix. Thank you so much.
So appreciative for your work

Thank you for this
Is there a follow up story?

Would be good to have just a very brief synopsis! Others opinions not necessarily mine. I’m going to listen for a while anyway.

Your opinion is poop.
Oh goodness, aren't women silly...
