I've created a custom tooltip and didn't lose the ability to drill through. If I *right-click* on a visual that uses a custom tooltip, and the visual is configured correctly to use drill through, I do see the option to drill through after right-clicking. @1:12 are you right-clicking on the bar chart ?
Edit : I should clarify that I'm not right-clicking on a Deneb-based viz. I'm clicking on a viz from the default Power BI UI and can still right-click.

Yes you are correct. My point isn't that you lose the ability to drillthrough, rather you lose the menu that appears automatically which prompts you to drillthrough (which you see at 0:55). The option to drillthrough will always be there with a right click, as long as you have a properly configured drillthrough page.

Hi, if you go to my Deneb playlist, the very first video will show you how to create visuals using Vega-Lite and Deneb. This cannot be done in standard Power BI visuals.

Please, how would you restrict right click drillthr in visuals where user can see it but you would not allow it if you could

If I understand correctly you want some visuals to not have drillthrough when this function is active? I suppose you could create a duplicate column in your model, and use this for the visuals for which you don't want to have it possible? It's not great practice, but it would work for sure. :)

      If we've got a dim_balance like 20x3000 and copy it 2-3-4 times ☹️
Why MS can't allow us to restrict driithrough...

@@mikhailstotskiy9960 You should only have to duplicate the column once. It's a really good point though, I honestly never thought about it until your question. I've never had the need to restrict it, but I can imagine there are a few examples when this is needed. It would be a good option. Maybe look to see if there is an idea for this and vote or create the idea.
