  • Welcome and welcome back to my channel. ❤️
    In today’s video, I explained in detail what I did to prepare for Air Force Basic Military Training. Please keep in mind that I ship out on 5 April 2022, and I have not been to training yet, but I wanted to share how I prepared physically and both mentally for this rigorous training to come. I go over my fitness, as well as my finances, and how I handled other priorities.

    Love your personality, love watching your videos!
    My husband is active duty, we have a 4 year old, but I’m joining the airforce this year and even though I feel prepared because I went through all this when my husband went to basic but it’s been so nice watching your videos to help ease my nerves!

      I’m very excited that I was able to help ease your nerves in a way. Your experience definitely should be lovely. Hopefully you are able to get stationed wherever he is.

      @@kebreannalasha we’re at a base booked wants lol so if I put it anywhere on my dream sheet then they’ll definitely send me here. But also with us being married and having a child, his job is pretty much at any base and the job I want is too, so they should be able to get us together!!!!!
      I look forward to watching more of your videos! 💜

    I’m 25 with two little ones. I’m joining the Air Force as well. I take my ASVAB on the 22nd of April. I’ve always been physically active but I put on too much muscle weight. So I’ve been only doing cardio and core. I’m excited for this journey for both us. I’ll definitely be subscribing ☺️

      Yes ma’am! Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. My main goal to start TH-cam was to make a lot of Air Force related videos for moms so they can kinda see how it is. I know it’ll be different for everyone but I’m excited to give the inside scoop as much as I can. You’ll do great on the ASVAB! I highly recommend researching jobs that would be accommodating to your mom life. For instance, security forces is not suitable for single moms, but I heard material management maybe. Research a lot of potential jobs that can be flexible enough to tend to your child as well. My recruiter was very understanding, so when a job came open that he felt would be good for my situation, he booked it for me. He wanted me to do services, and honestly, after researching services and watching others insights on it, it seemed like it really is a pretty chill job with a set schedule. But yes! Thank you for subscribing.❤️

      My afsc is Aerospace Medical and its a cool job, but they still have the potential to work probably 24 hours on and 48 hours off instead of 0700-16:00, depending on the base, but we shall see.

      @@kebreannalasha thanks for the insight. My man actually gets out of the military in February. I have a great support system thank goodness so my job hours won’t bother me. I have a medical degree and licensure so I’m hoping for something medical but I know sometimes they’re scarce. Right now I’m just working out everyday and studying little by little. You’ve inspired me to start making videos 😂 good luck with everything

      @@allykat7416 Honestly. Its a huge paycut compared to what you probably make or can make with your medical degree, but if you’re like me and just want to experience it, then most definitely go for it. I know as far as pay and with me having a degree, I took a HUGE paycut, but we’ll get BAH pay for having children, so that made up for it. I plan to commission as soon as I can.

    I am so glad to find your channel. The plan is to train as well because I am planning to join the Air Force Reserves this year. I am wishing you the best in your military journey. Perhaps if you could provide a list of things you are bringing to BMT.

      Hey. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. Giving me the uplifting that I need. I did make a BMT packing list video as well if you want to go check that out. A lot of the stuff I packed, I used Airman Vision as a guide.

    They CANT leave it with you after graduating. Just have them ship your suitcase to you once you get to your tech school.

      @kebreannalasha  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I know they can’t leave it with me after graduation. I already mentioned this. I said I would have my parents ship it from San Antonio while they’re already in San Antonio instead of home.

    Are you in active or reserves and which sport bra did you purchase for the BMT? Any tips?

    • @kebreannalasha
      @kebreannalasha  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey. I’m doing Active Duty and I leave for BMT on April 5th. I’m so nervous, but for now, I say don’t be lazy and run/do push-ups/sit ups every chance you get. Also stay hydrated. That’s all the advice I can give right now, but if/when I make it through BMT, I’ll most definitely come back and post another video.
