      Thank you so much honey and good luck to you on yours as well! You got this. It’s not hard at all. The yelling from the MTIs and the unnecessary attitudes and drama from the girls is very annoying. If you find yourself frustrated, just keep remembering your why. 💕

    Shipping out June 7th but my question is for the new PT test can u do planks, HAMR run, and all that since it got 100% authorized. I’ve heard mixed some people say yes and some say no

    • @kebreannalasha
      @kebreannalasha  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey. Congratulations! I just graduated Thursday. I’ll give an update once I get settled in at Tech School. From what my MTI told me, as far as BMT goes its the 1.5 mile run, the push ups and sit ups only with no alternatives. The new Air Force PT test only applies Once you are 100% in the Air Force, like when you are actually at your first base doing your job, then yes, you can choose planks over sit ups and shuttle runs over the 1.5 mile run. Honestly, BMT is going to get you right for the Air Force PT test. That’s all you’re going to be doing there. Your body will get used to that 1.5 mile and those sit ups.

    I know with covid everything changed how long is your bmt going to be and what's the new phone rules.
    Also I seen you had to leave your son while in training. How'd that go? I got two little boys I'm gonna be leaving for the time being with their dad.

    • @kebreannalasha
      @kebreannalasha  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey. I just graduated Thursday. It’s 7 1/2 weeks long but we were technically there for 8 weeks. It starts at 0 week and ends at 7 weeks. And we are required mandatory phone calls every weekend. Now rather you get a 5 minute call or a 15 minute call depends on your mti and how your flight behaves.

    What happens at MEPS during ship day? More Medical??

    • @kebreannalasha
      @kebreannalasha  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey. Females had to take a pregnancy test, and we all do another drug test. Afterwards, we do a normal quick physical. They don’t run anymore test or anything. Just checking for open wounds or scars and then they ask have anything from your medical records changed, and that’s no of course. 🙂 After that, the rest of the visit is just paperwork over your contract to make sure things were still the same.

    Hey, just wanted to know what is the name of the company you used to store your car. also, what kind of payment method did you do since you were going to BMT. Thanks in advance

    • @kebreannalasha
      @kebreannalasha  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey girl and no problem. I used this company called Snapbox and I just set up automatic payments. My car note, phone bill, car insurance and everything was on autopay. In regards to your car insurance, if it’s going to be parked the entire time you’re away, see if you can change your full coverage to the parking status insurance they have. I’m not sure what it’s called but if you explain your situation, you can temporarily switch it to a cheaper rate. My company wouldn’t let me suspend my insurance at all, but they did lower my rate for the time being to like a “parked car protection plan”. I’m paying like $111 for my garage style storage. That’s including the storage insurance. Everywhere else I looked was either waaayy higher or in run down neighborhoods. This was the best one for my budget lol. In your area, just do your research on what you’re comfortable with. Let them know it’s for military purposes also. Honestly, I just got a garage style storage because I had furniture to put in there as well. So I figured why not leave my car in there also. If you have family or something that has a garage, save your money. My folks live in the hood lol so I didn’t want to leave it there.

    How was Pt test ?

    • @kebreannalasha
      @kebreannalasha  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey. If you’re younger than 30, you have to do a 1.5 mile run in under 16:22 minutes, 38 situps in a minute and 18 push ups in a minute. PT is not hard at all……..if you’re already active or workout weekly…….I wasn’t bad at PT and I finished strong, however I wasn’t good neither if that makes since. I struggled a lot, but I worked hard during training (which would save stress if you workout or try to meet the minimum requirements before coming)I highly recommend getting comfortable with running, push ups and sit ups before going. It’ll make it more easy and less stressful. The sit ups are basically just a crunch instead of a full sit up. Your elbow just have to touch ANYWHERE on your thigh. Rather its your upper thigh or lower thigh. Your pushups have to break 90 degrees and your back can’t be slumped down or high up like crazy. Do your pushups how you are comfortable as long as they are breaking 90 degrees. The weekly PT test isn’t hard, plus it’s setting you up for success to pass that final PT test during 5th week. Trust me, it’s only difficult if you come in literally lazy and never worked out before.
