Nicely Done. I've owned that Gibson LP Jr a1999 manufacturing date give or take either way coupp years . Bit of a USA guitar built snob but my first run Epiphone JJN in black with Ebony fretboard is an amazing guitar probably like it better than I did my Jr + with the tone volume configuration imo better than a standard Jr it's much easier to adjust when playing .
So after owning both these guitars, the LP Junior is definitely more resonant and open sounding compared to the JJN. The Junior is really big and raw, an absolute flamethrower. The JJN took a long time to break in. Only about a month or so ago it started to open up a little more. Takes a lot of playing time to season this thing. It does not sounds as big as the Junior, the Seymour Duncan pups feel a little lower on the output. The pole pieces on the P90 Silencer need to be raised really high to get it to sound fatter. However the JJN P90 feels more dynamic. The Junior I got is such a monster, it wants to live on high gain and scream.

Feeling the timbre in person, does the JJN's sound sound fuller and fatter because it has a body with more wood? (maple top)
Both are killer in their own ways! Great demo as always!!! 🤘😎
The JJN Custom is smoother, balanced, if u will. The Junior a bit trebly and crispy. Good reviews, bro

Gibson's p90 sounds warmer and fuller to me. Both guitars are awesome nonetheless
