Thanks Doug and Kellie for another great video. I really do enjoy getting to see the views of Lake Tahoe through your camera lens such a beautiful area...👍😊
Absolutely beautiful, thanks Doug and Kellie for taking us there.i spent a week up there when I was young. I forgot how wonderful it is up there. Thanks again for a ride down memory lane
Hi Brother Doug and Kellie! A nice outing on the lake, I was impressed by the deep turquoise color. Thanks to Kellie for wanting to check out the boulders! That's where I would have explored too. Those wave scenes you showed looked like the Oregon coast! Those ol yellow jackets though, what pests they can be! And once they find your picnic, they won't give up! Kudos to Kellie for the lunch with cookies 🍪😋. You know how your viewers love the cookie scenes, 😅. It was fun as always! 🇺🇸
That water was absolutely gorgeous, so clear and pristine. Thank goodness, with all of those boulders you had to negotiate around. You're both so great being able to navigate the canoe around them. I, for one, was mesmerized by the sheer beauty. Well, Doug, you both earned that yummy, appetizing lunch Kellie put together, including the 🍪. 🌞🤗 I loved all the stops you took us to. We actually saw signs of life at one of them. I THOROUGHLY enjoyed this adventure... and AS ALWAYS, learned so much, along the way. *I'm on my way out the door, but couldn't leave without responding to one of my absolute, favorite podcasters. I hope people are able to identify the people in the photos. Some of them contain clues. Once again, thank you both so much, Doug and Kellie... another 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 episode. 🏡🙏🏻🌊👏🏻🎊 🎆 YIPPEE and YAHOO
@@danacalifornia9453 Hi Dana, happy fall to you! 🍁🍂 We pretty much did have a lot of the lake to ourselves, happy to share the view with you. Storm coming over the mountains now; brrrr. 👋🇺🇸
The water looked so clear and without the usual crowds. Maybe that diver you saw was there using a metal detector, I have done that on the California side with snorkeling. Once those crowds are gone the beaches and into the water a little can be good for metal detecting. Nice video to watch.
@@steveblankenship5474 Steve, my friend Richard and I were just talking about metal detecting on the popular beaches. We were also wondering what the diver was looking for, but personally I could see just diving to experience the clear water and vibrant underwater colors.
I just love that color of the lake! It's been a few years since I have really visited Lake Tahoe. This just makes me more determined to get up next year and explore a few trails. I enjoyed you and Kelly's adventure kayaking on the lake. I am glad the waters were calmer than in your opening footage. Although, that opening footage was absolutely beautiful 😊 We are actually heading over to Yosemite in a little over a week to see if we can see some fall colors. 😊
@@nationalparksprincess3216 The color of the waters was so intense, the camera could hardly do it justice! There are so many trails and different things to see around Lake Tahoe. Of course, it is popular for a reason and the off shoulder seasons are the best because not as crowded (spring and fall). Can't wait to see your take on the Yosemite fall foliage, you guys always do such a great job and are getting even better all the time! 🤠👋🇺🇸🍁🍂
Oh the off season splendor of nature with crystal clear Lake Tahoe and with it practically all to yourselves. Nice! Now I'm no farmer by any means but I think that photo was taken in Churchill county with a bagged crop of potatoes or sweet potatoes headed off to market or the NAD as the Hawthorne Army depot was called then. Not sure the year of the photo however. Thanks for sharing guys and I hope the photos at the end can be identified as to who they are.
@@hestheMaster Hi Steve! Very interesting assessment. We will have to wait and see how it goes with the photo IDs. It should be interesting. The colors on the lake were unreal; I don't think the dark radiant blue of the deep water came through, but the aqua was fairly represented. Colder weather is starting to arrive. 💨🤠🇺🇸👋
Hi, 🎉 Doug and Kelly! What a super coincidence! There you were at the grocery store on your bicycle as we just happened to be passing through Hawthorne, NV! Thanks for letting us know about your latest masterpiece! (And, G*d's!) Truly a master piece You Tube Edit, Photography, Narration, music and Canoeing through that turquoise water and the Granitr Rocks! Yes, Kelly is the star! And, you are the Rock! You both rock. And, of course, your use of the word, the image, and this technology rocks. Even as G*d Rocks Rock! Great work at the museum. I hope that you find good homes for those Mystery iris! Let me know what colors they are when they reveal themselves next April!
Lake Tahoe is gorgeous! You really really brought it home. Kelly and you both! Thanks for the reognition on the tomatoes 🍅 and hot 🌶 peppers. That home made bread and home made salsa looked 🔥 fabulous. Those yellowjackets, as much as they cut your enjoyment of your cookies and the end of your lunch may have saved you from even more treacherous swells! 😊
@@TimT-um6rt Will do! It was a nice surprise running into you two! Will put the iris in today ..and thank you for the dried tomatoes, they will come in handy this winter. Have a great trip and visit my friends! 🤠👋
