I have mixed feelings about Swann. He was part of the best England Test side of my lifetime (much better than our current one) and a key player in our 2010 T20 World Cup win. On the other hand, he was ,atleast in part , responsible for creating an atmosphere which prematurely curtailed KP's career and left an Ashes tour half way through like a man on The Titanic escaping on a lifeboat. I think Tufnell and Panesar (different types of spinners) were as good of not better but didn't have DRS for as the number of games that Swann did and in the case of Tufnell, didn't have it at all.

It’s simple players will be better in all dimensions if you have more diverse conditions. Cricket is gonna be more exciting. Have more spin friendly wickets in England. If our batsmen make big scores throughout the series then we have a chance of doing well. Last time we played there in a test series, we only made one big score, and that was in the 1st test match. The rest of the series was a succession of low scores and losing wickets by playing pretty ordinary shots. Still we have a different captain and coach, with a different mindset. I'm optimistic about our chances of at least drawing the series.
Why you guys are not even thinking about to win this test series. That's the biggest problem with sena countries. If india managed to win test series in sena then why not sena in asia. Whatever be result of this series but I know english media will blame indian pitches 😂
@@RaunakthePrayasians
They don't have the skillset to succed in India.
Tbh , no country other than Australia have the resources to beaut india in India
@@RaunakthePrayasiansfor me it's the lack of acclimatisation and practice in India that is the reason why we aren't thinking about winning the series, or being able to win the series. We used to play warm up games against very good and competitive teams before test series in Australia, India, South Africa etc. Now we just turn up a week or so before the start of the series, which is daft. Then we wonder why we lose virtually every opening game at least.
@@mrkipling2201 so now we are going to play first 2 Match without kohli shami and pant.
Lets have a fun ❤️
Btw I have a question for u english guys.
Which team were you supporting in world cup final.
India or australia.
@@RaunakthePrayasians India!! I can't cheer for Australia. I don't hate them but I don't want them to win!! Lol 😂
I really like this podcast
England can consider this tour as a success even if they nick a test, not sure how bazball will work on india's rank turners
haha just 1 min in and hillarious vibes of these two
Great podcast this was would like to Swanny more the way he talks about and breaks down the game is incredible
Looking at recent history (post 2018), simply play a new spinner every match so that they can get 10-for in each of them. India do play a spinner better if they come in for a second game…
No Ian Ward?
Some one better shown this test matches
Nasser Hussain and his words❤
Bring in some horses for courses…these are rank turners keeping low..you could take your own victory against India 2011/2012 series where Cook and Kev dominated…
What horses for courses ??
We have the richest cricket board, we have the biggest cricket broadcasting deals and yet our broadcasters would never give us pure in-depth cricket podcasts like these…As a huge cricket fan i feel so deprived !!
Cant you section the video up into discussion points like every other TH-cam channel? Would be extremely helpful.
5-0 india..won every game with ease..
Happy Muscles NAZ
HAPPY NEWYEAR
We know how all these gonna end up - English complaining about turning pitches and Indians wrapping up 5-0 .
Nass really did a number on him😂😂
Surprised swann didn't leave half way through this.
BrillIiant podcast
Hopefully sky get the coverage
