It's the Atari 2600, so why even ask in the first place? That thing was made in fuggin' 1976, how do you NOT expect the sound to be beeping and a bit scratchy with high quality sound?
@@JustWasted3HoursHereactually, it uses the DPC+, which enchanted the games music to add more channel music, and it sounds so well, but in the early days of Mappy 2600 development, it sounded… more ataritistic in first place, but it slowly gets better & here we are, the good music
This pushes the atari limits
And it’s impressive
Does anyone here have the full rom? (I mean the closest we got was the Public WIP release)
Very close to the arcade! but I do wonder what the memory amount used was compared to a standard card at the time...
32 kilobytes
128byte ram right?
Just ordered harmony kart any good? For home brew
how do I download it

@@MrGuy4 Because no other game on the system does that? It may be inferior beeps and boops but they're not scratchy.

@@Danyplaysboblox Ah, so this is an extra chip inside the cart?
so loooooooooud
That gameplay is super unsatisfying
Well, jumping on trampolines in Mappy gives you 10 points, so there is a probable reason for the super unsatisfying gameplay you mentioned.
@@MrGuy4maybe either that, or probably hates the graphics for no reason though it looks so cool
