Please pray for me this thanksgiving. These pass years have been difficult on me. I’ve been struggling to support my children. I keep faith and truly believe in God's promise trusting in his faithfulness. But at times it can be difficult. Especially as a single mother and having two children with autism. I’m overwhelmed. Lord give me strength as I struggle to support my children. But even as I struggle to pay rent and I struggle to buy groceries for my kids. I KEEP FAITH in you LORD. I’m so tired Lord! Please keep me encouraged!

Very true. If we wait for the perfect timing prayer life will never develop. Constant little prayers during the day prepare us for that Holy Mass, Rosary, etc.

“He can give more to one in half a year than another in many years.” This is so true, you find yourself persisting and praying but nothing happens. Those around you even though they’re not even trying they keep on getting blessed, but there will be that one period in time when God will say yes and you find yourself being ultimately blessed more than you would have ever imagined. I am the loving testimony of that phrase❤ I praise God everyday for all the blessings He has bestowed upon me😭

Our God never forgets us, His time to bless each and every one of us differs from our expectations. He loves us dearly and wants us to come closer to Him daily and to love one another. Above all, God wants us to live a blessed life and be with Him in heaven after life. Most times we want monetary blessings which distract us from moving closer to Him. While we pray for financial help let us remember to be faithful in prayers and trusting Him completely and telling Him that we belong to Him, body, soul and mind. God loves us very much am sure of it, any thing we suffer here is a drop in the ocean of the joys we will share in His presence at last. Find a Catholic Church near you and try to attend Mass daily, it will help you so much like it is helping me and very Friday do the Stations of the Cross, it is a great prayer that draws one into the wounded Heart of Jesus! Be strong, be faithful, be loving, you are not alone A loving God is with you!!!

I missed Sunday masses very often because of my work. I hope that I can make time to pray a meaningful and heartfelt prayers to God and I will not let my circumstances affect my Sunday mass. Great points...My three favorites: 1) In order to grow in relationship w/ Jesus & advancement in prayer...it requires repentance and turning from our faults. 2) The blessing is found in the Sacrament of Penance...when we repent of our ways and conform our hearts to the Will of God...THAT is where the blessing is found. Finally... 3) He gives in accordance with the courage which He sees that each of us has and the love we bear to His Majesty. Great quotes/thoughts to reflect on repent, have courage to speak the truth at all times and bring my will into conformity with His Will..

I am 73 and have some encroaching memory issues, and many of the resolutions made, arising from your talks, seem to disappear into a deep well of forgetfulness quite quickly. I always find encouragement in your words, prayers and teachings, Ken and Janelle. I find myself becoming fearful and anxious when I try to understand and keep up with all the issues of dissent in our Catholic Church, but I feel a great trust in Catholic Minute and am comforted, in my confusion, by the faith, sincerity, truth, humility and love that radiates from the prayer videos, which I use daily to assist in my praying. Thank you for making this video for mental health that I have been struggling since 2006. Burnouts and psychosis reoccur. I am trying to be better on my communication with God, to know more about Him and my relationship to Mama Mary. I haven't read the Bible through completely only for the Gospel of the Day. 🙏
What stood out for me or I would rather say what I heard from God while listening to this video is that He gives me a chance to catch up for those wasted years. Great job thank you that helps I have read Saint Teresa of Avila‘s autobiography also the way of perfection and I’m working on the interior castle I’ve been trying to sit with God for at least an hour or more in the morning for years I listen I read I talk to him I imagine what he might say to me but I have not advance to anything much that I can see. But I might be judging it wrong I don’t know. I’m also going to adoration and then in the evening I pray for another hour. I talked to god so sincerely. But sometimes these methods they get in the wayFirst I have to consider something and then I’m supposed to have affections and then petitions and resolutions. I gotta say the real truth here is I just want to talk and listen and read and learn I don’t have to consider much about Jesus he’s sitting right there next to me so I get a little confused I bought a book called conversations with Christ. Now I feel like I’m studying so much I stopped just having a nice hour with God because I was afraid that the lack of advancement was due to the wrong method it’s causing me a lot of anxiety

I do have to be intentional and make it my priority to do my daily devotions. I was so glad to learn that God will lead up deeper in my prayers to help us to lead by him. This spoke to me in how my husband and I were lead to retreats that have improved our relationship together as a couple praying together, sharing reflection time and seeing and having a more intimate relationship with him. Wow, I had to pause at 5:13, because what was stated up to that point about loving Jesus more: that is relatively the exact advice of the saint, mind you I have not looked into or known in great detail, until this video, and yet had the same exact understanding early on in my conversion (convert from April, 2023). I kid you all not, what I had written down in that time period after conversion, as a sort of mental/spiritual epiphany about the divine love of Christ in the Catholic tradition and Christian faith is this: "What we must observe and fervently ask ourselves is not 'Do you love Jesus,' for this you should already know. Instead, what we must ask ourselves, moreover, is, 'Will you let Jesus love you more?' What a life worth living, chasing that answer!" But sometimes these methods they get in the wayFirst I have to consider something and then I’m supposed to have affections and then petitions and resolutions. I gotta say the real truth here is I just want to talk and listen and read and learn I don’t have to consider much about Jesus he’s sitting right there next to me so I get a little confused I bought a book called conversations with Christ. Now I feel like I’m studying so much I stopped just having a nice hour with God because I was afraid that the lack of advancement was due to the wrong method it’s causing me a lot of anxiety

Thank you so much for this. You're absolutely 💯 correct in all your points. I will admit that I have lapsed from time to time in my prayers. I do have to be intentional and make it my priority to do my daily devotions. I was so glad to learn that God will lead up deeper in my prayers to help us to lead by him. This spoke to me in how my husband and I were lead to retreats that have improved our relationship together as a couple praying together, sharing reflection time and seeing and having a more intimate relationship with him. I will never use excuses but I do forget alot even taking my Dr medication and I do need prompting due to my disability but the determination is strong so all I say is I do my absolute best obviously with God's help and guid I believe I will get there 1 day at a time it takes me time

What stood out to me 🤔 was that Pascale is a year and a half old already! 😳 Is he really?? Your children are so sweet. My 10yr old granddaughter loves when they pray her to sleep with either the Divine Mercy Chaplet or the Rosary. She has a tough time falling to sleep without them. Wow, I had to pause at 5:13, because what was stated up to that point about loving Jesus more: that is relatively the exact advice of the saint, mind you I have not looked into or known in great detail, until this video, and yet had the same exact understanding early on in my conversion (convert from April, 2023).
I kid you all not, what I had written down in that time period after conversion, as a sort of mental/spiritual epiphany about the divine love of Christ in the Catholic tradition and Christian faith is this:
"What we must observe and fervently ask ourselves is not 'Do you love Jesus,' for this you should already know. Instead, what we must ask ourselves, moreover, is, 'Will you let Jesus love you more?' What a life worth living, chasing that answer!"
