Canadia' Reviewer Episode #269: Transformers Generations Thrilling 30 IDW Legends Class Acid Storm and Venin.
Description: Some warriors prefer an all-out frontal assault. Acid Storm and Venin take a more treacherous approach. Acid Storm can seed the atmosphere with toxins to create metal-melting acid rain. Venin uses his stinger to poison any life form and rot them from within. It might not be as flashy as triggering an explosion, but for the evil purposes of the Decepticons, it's just as destructive.

Alright? I mean the joke is more on the fact that in the Cyberverse series, they literally couldn't settle on which, as Acid Storm used both male and female designs for different episodes.
TFanPage101 Exactly. It’s just the kind of thing people might have given you shit for. Which I think would be undeserved. It’s a dig at an animation error. Not a statement about gender conformity. People on the internet have a habit of ripping people’s heads off for no reason.

I think the guns work better if you peg then in the hands in alt mode. They hide the arms, act as stability and even make the undercarriage look better from the side.

The joke was about the fact they didn't decide on a gender during Cyberverse, and so in certain episodes, Acid Storm shared either a typically used male or female body. That was it. It wasn't an attack or even much of a joke on gender itself, but a mention that Hasbro did not settle early on what they wanted

In using the term 'gender confused' I guess I can see where you're coming from, and if so, I'm sorry you felt that way. I just want to explain that the term was used only because it was technically confusing as they didn't settle on anything, but carried on with the show anyways. It wasn't about anyone in particular. As far as 'just pick' I want to explain, in context, that was about Hasbro's decision, not the character or person
