Thank the lord for you. Your testimony is encouraging women all around the world to confess there sin and ask for forgiveness from the lord above. An abortion is a very painful and emotional. The guilt afterwards is overwhelming. I know cause I'm one of those women.

I had mine 4 months ago 😊and immediately I talked to my baby I asked for forgiveness from it and God ....and I forgave myself and the daddy I prayed and cried very much but now I see God's Grace daily .I just finished reading Chasing Grace by Richard Sanya and everyday I get my strength from God ..I experienced deliverance and right now I even know how to appreciate the little and I am grateful ☺️God doesn't care about your sins and no sin is greater than God's grace and Mercy ....God cares about your eternity 💖

I was in tears and broken for so many years about mine especially considering my oldest troubled past thinking I deserved to be treated badly after what I had done and I still have moments when I see movies and politics about abortion and I become broken all over again I know that God forgives , but I can’t seem to forgive myself thank you for your testimony.

Praying that God brings you to a place of healing and peace in His mercy if this is still a burden that you’re carrying. It’s times like you’re describing when I can’t seem to let go of shame or pain that I am grateful as a Catholic for the Sacrament of Confession. I know some frown upon Confession, thinking it is an unnecessary barrier between us and God’s mercy, but hearing Jesus pronounce those words through the mouth of the priest: “I absolve you from your sins” . . . There’s something deeply healing in hearing them out loud that allows you to let your sins go and lay them at the foot of the Cross. Hoping He heals you and all women struggling with the pain of the past in a similar way.
His Heart was pierced for us, and the space left by the lance remains a refuge for sinners for all eternity.

Woow I think today the same God has shown me his grace by delivering me also I have been one of those who have been loving with guilt shane fear for the past one and half years when I carried out an abortion. Till today I have been asking myself with God ever forgive me I fell that I have gone against my God so badly coz for the past ten years I have been saved I never wronged thought iwl cross my limits with His to that extent .I ask myself quizz like God will I ever get married and bless me with a child once again .all this quizz have tomenting me but now this message has encouraged me greatly thanks my sister coz from today I have believed in God and confessed my son's so deeply I acknowledged them and I believe God will forgive me and uwl start a new life with xst jesus .Once again God bless u.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I still battle emotionally with an abortion that I had over twenty years ago. I have read your book. It was excellent and courageous to right the book. Abortion tends to be hush hush in churches and especially in the African-American communities even more so in churches. I also like how you discussed how abortion effects men. I have battled with anger issues with the father for many years. We are no longer in touch. It's always bothered me that he seemed to be not effected, nonchalant and sometimes even glad we opted for the abortion. I felt like he even distanced himself which even made the anger worse. Once I thank you from the bottom of my heart your testimony truly moved me.

Your fighting the good fight, this is one race that you've already won because of his blood that was shed on the cross, but the enemy will try to distract you, trip you or even try to get you to drop the baton... Ms Sanya, I just turned 73 last week and a few days later, I musta picked up Covid. So 5 days into my quarantine, I decided I'll do some random TH-cam binging. I added coverage of the Jamaican women's 100 sweep at this year's WORLDS . When I heard your voice, I wound up adding a few flashback moments to my queue and unwittingly added this one. I Had never heard your testimony. Got me sobbing like a new born baby. While the genesis of your testimony concerns abortion, the nexus of your message is all-inclusive. All's I can say is , if He's got His arms around all yous Jamaicans, then I know healing's in store for me. Keep on keeping on!

Amazing testimony, always looked up to this wonderful woman as an Olympian track athlete, but now hearing her amazing testimony, her love of God and the evidence of God's mercy and love through his Son Jesus Christ and the sacrifice he made on the cross, is radiating through her and I see the light of Christ in her. I can’t lie, I have mixed emotions. I try not to feel angry about not being able to conceive and other women being able to and aborting their creations at the snap of a finger. It hurts my heart that I’m not able to stand in my frustrations without being judged or ppl seeing where I’m coming from, guess you can say we all have different perspectives and come from different backgrounds and parts of the world, all of our stories are different and I have to keep reminding myself that my story is not theirs… 🥺 praying for comfort
God loves you but also keep in mind that there are things that we only see a portion of ask God to help you deal with your frustrations so you don’t judge others out of them. You judge others and God will judge you the same. He’s with you and he loves you. Ask for his guidance and forgiveness and he will provide .

I was told I had to do a medically induced abortion or I would die. Went to many pro life docs and they said the same surprisingly. It's been hard. I already have a 5 month old and... I don't know what to do. I am currently 15 weeks pregnant and I have the abortion scheduled soon... I feel like I have no choice and at the same time I feel selfish.
Wow, this is tough! Does this procedure have to happen? Pray and go back for second opinion. May I ask the reason why you are being told you have to terminate your pregnancy?

I get it. God loves us and his mercy is boundless. But Sanya has made a decision and shared a very public testimony that will ripple out to many and result in only more innocent blood being shed, and more people ending up in hell. Clearly, she knows deep down she committed a grievous sin...murder. Worse, her own child. The sacred pace of her WOMB--the holy of holies where the image of God can be knit together--became (shudder) a TOMB. She literally sacrificed her child in service to the idol of her Olympic aspirations. But instead of straight-up acknowledging and repenting of her sin (the conviction and the desire for which you can see bubbling beneath the surface of her entire testimony) she basically just said, "Whoops! My bad. But God loves and forgives me anyway," and gave everyone who listens to her the same convenient way out she embraced. Babies are likely going to die as a result. And souls will be endangered. It would have been far better had Sanya just kept silent rather than get up and try to assuage her conscience with this "Peace, peace!" -- when there is no peace-- errant testimony. (Jeremiah 6:14) I pray she reads this and God gives her a gift of true repentance. And then she gives meaning to her son or daughter's death by getting involved in the battle for life.

I can understand female athletes not wanting kids before major events. They have put in many hours of blood, sweat and tears to reach level of human achievement that few of us can even dream about. But there are ways for them not to become pregnant. Athletes can decide when to have kids. Its called contraception. To terminate a child just because you want a gold medal to me is absolutely disgusting and one of the most selfish expressions of human behaviour imaginable. Weh she a gwaan with?
