Hyper-Capitalist? By definition, you are talking about Fascists and hedonists. Capitalism or more correctly, free enterprise is not an economic system. It simply describes what people have been doing everyday from the beginning of time.
You're referring to people who use "the system", i.e. government to manipulate the free market to do what "you" believe is unfairly and immoraly enrich themselves. That may or may not be true.
If you fancy yourself a Christian, then you may want to watch yourself in that thinking. Your assumption smacks of jealously which is a form of hatred. You are also judging others you do not know. How do you earn a living? Could someone make the same claim about you? Do you really consider yourself righteous compared to those you appear to have contempt for?

“But since our discourse has now turned to the subject of blasphemy, I desire to ask one favour of you all, in return for this my address, and speaking with you; which is, that you will correct on my behalf the blasphemers of this city. And should you hear anyone in the public thoroughfare, or in the midst of the forum, blaspheming God; go up to him and rebuke him; and should it be necessary to inflict blows, spare not to do so. Smite him on the face; strike his mouth; sanctify your hand with the blow…”

Many think it's just the Last Supper thing, but in reality it's a three-act, four-hour Antichristian show. The first act is the descent to hell of Paris, where the torch of the city is given to a demon-like person. That alone, with the mocking of martyrs in the catacombs, should make anyone shiver. The second act is this crescendo of prideful-lustful musical acts up to the demonic supper, where the demon-like figure gives the torch, the light of Paris to a faceless messenger. The third act is that strong passage of the faceless messenger riding over the Sena river, as if it were a river of the dead, and all the nations in the world joined behind the ranks of this Antichristian messenger, since they rode in the same river while all this blasphemy was taking place. It's the most brutal depiction I've seen of the Revelation of St. John, since the artists didn't try to hold back their satanic synergy. That being said, I think the transition between the second and the third act is the most shocking aspect of the opening, even more than the Last Supper mockery.

May we pray without ceasing for the transformation of the people to actually see of their blasphemy. Let the light of Christ shine out the darkness. Blessings to fellow Orthodox Christians who stand for truth as the Saints did. The martyrs experienced such torture and gave up their lives. We as Orthodox faithful are tortured by the individualistic view pressed into our society in the guise of artistic direction and form. Orthodox Christians live within the Church - the hospital with Christ our physician. We take up our Cross and do not follow the world, we follow Christ. Why would the world who do not follow Christ believe they are representing art. Christ is not art, and he cannot and will not be reduced to man’s brokenness. May God have mercy on their souls.

@@loizospapaloizou9494 I agree, the battle begins when you accept Christ, but it is not through any work of this world that you are saved, it is through his Grace.
If you kill a man, and you go to the judge and apologize 1000 times, you still must be punished for what you’ve done or I’d say that is not a good, just judge. You could do 1000 good deeds but you still would need to be punished. It would not change what you did. This is the emphasis on Grace I have. It does not mean you should not do good works. That is not what my faith tells me. No Protestant I have met would say that. But it’s only through Grace you are saved. Our Lord Jesus Christ paid that on the Cross for us.
You clearly have your opinions about Protestantism, and not all of them are entirely accurate either, and I am not going to be able to change your mind over a TH-cam comment. In person I could not change your mind that is not my job. You have your interpretation of things, and I have mine. That is just fine. We can leave it at that. I’m pleased when Christians can get along regardless of denomination. I base my faith on my personal relationship with Jesus Christ and his grace. Maybe I am wrong, and I pray everyday that if I am that Christ will direct me where I need to go. But that’s between him and I.

"in the last days the devil will attack family and marriage", message from Fatima by Our Lady, our Mother. I think the world has arrived there now, we are in the last days. One thing I look forward to is that this will usher the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart, "but in the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph". God bless.

The strongest argument I’ve found for Orthodoxy is that the fallen world primarily attacks God’s creation order with fallen and blasphemous images. An anti-iconography.

Thank you , Father, for taking the time to comment on this horrible event. Where I live, many Orthodox could not even see how blasphemous this was! I was shocked! It was taken as normal to them and I have been made to feel as though I am somehow a prude. All I saw were demons. All they saw was art. I remain gobsmacked that we claim to be ORTHODOX in the same parish. The priest here has said very little. I very much appreciate your thoughtful words.

That's what He did every time when someone attacked or blasphemed Him. And that's also what we should do and just ignore it. The anger and b*tthurt seen here is not from Christ, it is from ego.

If they want to be “inclusive “, then they need to have Ireland represented by a bunch of drunks.
For the African Americans, they can represent them as slaves running around acting drunk and happy that they are enslaved.
That whole Dionysis orgy was nothing more than a shameful display of cultural appropriation.

Here’s my question-as everyone in the Christian & many faith communities are expressing understandable distress re Paris Olympics opening, WHERE ARE YOUR EYES with regard to Child Protection??!🧐
Yes, of course I see this as someone from my field, experience & training, but, how do others miss this?
It was once our collective duty to observe ratings on Television & Movies about age suitability, everyone seems so upset about the insult to their faith tradition, that they forget to actually practise one its fundamental tenets.
Body language, height & positioning, exposure & developmental appropriateness. Does this meet any of that criteria?
Notify, take action to support Child Protection Services. Write to politicians, lobby for change & better funding.
That part you can do something about.
