Lol - I remember those newsreel clips - just reminds me how provocative and 'out there' this scene was to the general public -and also - pause for thought here - 'Acid house' was also generally dissed by the media - newspapers, tv and especially radio, which refused to play the music (too subversive somehow?) - they refered to it as "Sh_t House Music"back in the late '80s.
