Wow u guys are living a life I never evened dreamed anyone was doing ,,, just curious as a fellow u tuber are u managing to make the ends meet with your films ??
Excellent video and creatively edited. Great concept for climbing Denali involving bikes, skis and rafts. Denali's geography and amazing beautiful perfectly allows such an innovative challenge. Well done.
Hi Aero- We did 'support by convenience' meaning that we convinced friends to bike in with us and carry trailers with some of our gear. Another friend buried our boats at the Kahiltna landing strip which saved us from carrying the boats up and over. I can't embed the link in a comment but if you go to thingstolucat and click on the denali traverse you will see a map of our route (bottom of the page).
by bike and raft support do you mean folks met you along the way to pick up and hand off gear you will need or will no longer need? What was your route? I'm planning a ~100mi traverse in June but a pair of trail runners should be all I need for transportation. Would love to go back to do something of larger magnitude like you guys.
It doesn't have to be so expensive. For the amount of money most folks spend on a two week trip to Europe you can get all the gear you need for a trip like this, and then you can spend the rest of your life adventuring for only the cost of transportation to get there.
amazing video and trip, very impressive
Great adventure, loved it!
Awesome, f%^%* Awesome!
We saw your film at the Anchorage Backcountry Film Festival. Great work! Love it.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'make the ends meet.' Money? I'm not making any from videos.

This trip was cheap! Not paying for flights is a huge savings...
