Меня порозили арки в полкирпича тонкие, металические балки длиные но два человека легко поднимают это разве крыша, карточный домик, бывают оползни, а у них ещё в ихний стране идут пролевные дожди, я думаю это не на долго, да еще бетон заливали апалубку без арматуры, он разтрескаеться, интересно глянуть что произойдет через 2 года, наверно там не чего не будет.

It is totally amazing! I love it, Would like to make something at least smaller here at my house where I have space and a nice place at the dry creek I have to bring up something like I said a smaller building with the idea of the video here. It is completely gorgeous and also is like a fort for security, specially for hurricanes that here come year after year. And also is unique! Thanks for sharing!

There's not many of these unspoiled wilderness areas left on the planet. It's all been polluted by radio towers and bad architecture. Outside cities, it is extremely important to limit the damage that dumb rich a-holes do the environment with the money they made from corruption. Most countries have rules to limit the visual damage of new buildings. Camouflage Architecture is creative architecture that makes the new house disappear against the mountain, so it does not spoil the view for all the other people on the planet. It also limits damage to the mountain. A good example of this Camouflage Architecture is in Grootbos Private Nature Reserve in South Africa. China's Loess Plateau is beautiful. Please don't destroy it.

Я не силён в языках, но над входом в каждый готовый дом увидел красные фонарики. "Это китайцы строили и поселились вот так, в горе" - догадался я, и тогда у меня всё сошлось в осознании происходящего. Смотрел внимательно с самого начала, но у меня возникали только вопросы, один за другим.Правда, очень быстро появлялся молчаливый и понятный ответ на каждый вопрос в самом видео. Я в восторге ‼❗

@@SH-we9vc Хоть кто-то заметил, у меня первая мысль была - после какого дождя это всё схлопнется. Оно же там на 80% насыпное. И тот слой кирпича под сводами мне доверия не внушает. Потому и говорю о правильном применении денег.
@@SH-we9vc Это традиционная технология строительства в провинциях Шэньси и Ганьсу. Люди живут столетиями в подобных жилищах. Из выбранной глины делают кирпичи и обжигают в таких же камерах- нишах. Летом в таких домах прохладно, а зимой тепло.

The concept and design/build are impressive. Problem is… this a land-slide/mud-slide/collapse/bow-out disaster that will happen sooner than later. The required internal structural dome supports (that could be equally jacked up if required, internal dome wire mesh, and spray on concrete. Outside, they required wire mesh in the concrete floor. The sewage grates inside must be made easily removable. And of course again, outside, mitigate the rest of the hill above them. Awesome concept (8 out of 10) safety and infrastructure stability is a (1 out of 10). Oh, and all the supply-chain requirements… where are they??

The cave farm located in North East side of Chia, weather there is really dry and hardly rain, the lands and hills are really dry and firm. Cave house is normal at there.

For me it's the most stupid thing I've ever seen. They wasted sick amount of building materials to create what? Dark and tight doghouses in the mountain? They ruined a part of natural landscape to install all the crap that we already have evrywhere on this planet. I'm disgusted.

@Nathan Something , It´s not a "mountain" nor "rocky", because it is a high hill mud that desintegrates easily with a shovel, intense rain, hail, or snow that will hit that desert due to climatic change like in Arabia. Also earth quakes will crumble those brick walls because don´t have steel columns every few meters strengthening them, called in México "castillos", which are covered with concrete and part of it buried half a meter for stability. But best of luck for that adobe hill.

Am I the only one who sees this as potentially unsafe and not watertight? Are those arching bricks going to hold back any type of dirt collapse from water moving through the soil? Also, there is no water-resistant barrier for the top of the caves. I think water will seep through and wreak havoc. If this mountain were made of solid rock, that would be one thing, but this whole structure is just compacted dirt. I hope I'm wrong for the sake of those who will make this place their home. I would be very interested to read comments from a structural engineer.

Very cool building. I'm curious to see how it turns out. I really like the cave style to it. I would imagine that the interior rooms would be nicely cool in summer/warm in winter. I am also curious to see if the builders build more within the interior for example an interior staircase connecting level one and level two. Fantastic architecture! Cheers!

I feel like this was designed by somebody who doesn't know anything about farming. Even just looking at the surrounding environment I can say that there's not going to be nearly enough rain or water for crops or serious grazing brush.
After looking it up, the Chinese Loess Plateau (the location of this project) had a change from 'cool and dry' to 'humid' which 'does not favor the growth of vegetation' and 'accelerates soil erosion'. Further, the annual precipitation decreased. The vegetation cover reduced by 45% (makes sense if they're now having erosion problems).
I am pretty sure this place is just a publicity stunt, the people living there are going to be at the absolute best subsistence farmers rather than a 'self-sufficient eco-farm'.
I think you are wrong, go to China, have a look and experience it yourself, don't judge just by watching utube

I tend to agree with you. No farmer can afford to spend the amount of money that project cost.
And the small scale farming which it appears to be, (if i even assume it is a farm) will never be able to support itself and pay back the investment.
It is someones fancy project for the sake of the project itself.
( unless they will manufacture drugs in there)

That place is epic! Would love to see it when it’s complete! Is he gonna build rooms for people to come stay there overnight? Would be a great place for people to visit on a vacation to get away from society! Sure he could make a nice income charging people to come stay there for a few days at the time. Looks like he’s gonna need to install solar panels and potentially a generator for power because it’s doesn’t appear he’s getting power from anywhere close by. Be much cooler if it’s off the grid too! Think I missed some of the subtitles if he discussed anything I commented on. Compost is a great fuel for energy as well. Gonna need to be self sufficient where it’s located I bet.
