I have to agree with you Chuck the 13'6" restriction is a hard line not to be crossed, you're just asking for trouble if you do. I have seen a tiny house video from that part of the country that went 17' tall, and they claim it won't be a problem moving the tiny house, I'm thinking overpasses, telephone lines, traffic signals, just to name a few of the complications that come with crossing that line.

My Friday job at a north Idaho school district bus barn had an old driver who asked me if I knew what a Crown school bus was. I said of course, turns out he took his first bus driving license exam in one and the district he worked ran nothing but Crowns. He said Bluebird gave them a couple buses to try out to try and sell them buses, he told me they returned them and said no thanks after a couple of months. No surprise going up against Crowns.
