2006 C5500 Kodiak TCM Install

The 2006-2007 Kodiak C4500/C5500 trucks came with Allison 5 speed automatics. However, they actually had 6 gears just like the pick up trucks from GM of similar years. Your TCM just needs tuned to unlock the extra overdrive.
If you have a 2003-2005 Kodiak, this is not an option for your truck. You would have to actually swap in a 6 speed transmission and thats likely not cost effective if running a business.
