The HP ElitePad 900 is an ultrathin, lightweight tablet designed for Windows 8 that delivers features to keep IT managers happy and touts a design that employees will crave. It offers the full serviceability, enhanced security and manageability found in HP Elite PCs, and military-grade durability for drops, vibration, dust, temperature extremes and high altitude. The HP ElitePad offers a 10.1-inch diagonal display, weighs just 1.5 pounds( its feel very very light) and measures 9.2mm thin. The 16-by-10 aspect ratio maximizes the display area for ideal viewing of traditional business applications, as well as video content. Precision crafted, with an eye toward fit and finish, the HP ElitePad uses stylish, premium materials such as CNC-machined aluminum and Corning® Gorilla® Glass 2.
The ElitePad 900 is power by an Intel x86 processor and comes with 2GB of ram and offers 32GB or 64GB SSD storage. Its also got a front facing 1080p camera and a rear 8 megapixel camera. A unique feature of the ElitePad 900 are its jacket suite of accessories designed specifically for the HP ElitePad expand the tablet's potential, turning it into a total enterprise solution. You got a Smart jacket case that can add up to 18hr f battery life to your tablet. You also got a productivity Jacket that comes with an integrated keyboard and a rugged jacket for full protection from falls.
We really looked what we saw with the ElitePad 900, it's a very light and fully functional Windows 8 tablet, and performance wise, it was smooth as butter. I like the idea of the different jackets to accessorize the Elitepad 900. Though no word on pricing. this will be available in Jan for enterprise customers. I hope to get my hands-on this soon.

How can I order for a docking station,keyboard case and order external accessories for my hp 900 elitepad.Is very incredible to have.i really liked it.and my elite pad cannot make WhatsApp video.Is there a particular window's for WhatsApp videos for this elite 900 ipad

I actually have this tablet!!! I don't even use my iPad anymore. It can't run actual programs or even Usb ports. So when I got the tablet I never even looked back at my iPad. Maybe I s should sell it...

Being able to replace the battery and mother board and what not is a HUGE plus, great device, don't know whether to invest in this or in a laptop? $700 is to pricey for a tablet.

Well, not too exited. Unit itself is priced OK, but that's without additional accessories, which in most cases you can't skip.
No Display Port (HDMI instead), so this together with the basic video capabilities puts the device straight into average.
So, for marketing/sales/business related people it should be OK, but for High Tech folks, nothing special.

The CPU on the Pro is better, but only has a 4 hour battery life and no 3g or 4g support. :/
