one thing i like to do for live guitar set with reaper is I make a track with a few instances of the same plugin or maybe 2 different guitar plugins lets say for example. doesnt matter what they are. one will be clean the other distortion for example and you can Automate the bypass of the plugin at the exact points to turn on and off, basically it is like guitar pedals but all pre set to your tracks, dont have to think about it. I even have automated things like where there is a pinch harmonic note, shift it up one octave. lol its silly. fun to get creative with reaper.

I usually prefer to put the tracks in a dedicated folder for this kind of trick. Automating the wet/dry is a nice tip! For delays or reverb throws, it's better to automate the bypass though, to keep the tail of these FXs.
Oh wow, I was so used to get slapped in the intro that I didn't see that punch coming! 🫣 Jokes aside, thanks for this video, once more you're a lifesaver for us reaper users!
Kenny about to drop that new plugin called "Knowledge"...... 🔥
I'm pretty sure Kenny's knowledge exceeds the storage capacity of my PC.

Kenny is the master of all things reaper . Everything is explained and demonstrated perfectly. Any time I have a question this where it gets answered
Many years ago I suggested being able to add FX to a Region in Reaper for this exact reason.
Great info Kenny! I see more and more just how powerful Reaper is with your help! Thank you again!!

Weird to use master FX as an example of how to add FX to a single section. I wanna add an effect to only a couple of seconds on a single track.
hey kenny make a video about mixing and mastering with headphones
Kenny is there a way to reduce the points via a script, if you use the write automation? Good tips Thanks as always.
