It’s working. What i had done is, i had removed old battery circuit and fitted it with JBL Go’s battery circuit and guess what its working fine with higher capacity battery.

Thank you, this is a great help although I have some questions. I have a battery fitting problem too, is it ok if the back of the speaker and battery is touching each other? Is it still safe? Also mine doesn't seem to stop charging so I have to manually disconnect the charger, does it not automatically detect if it's full charged?
Touching back cover is not a problem.
If you fixed battery the same way as in the video, then it will work like same as it was working previously, only backup will vary.
Can you charge with wire..becouse I don't have new port....so I was thinking can you charge like that ..and how

2. Tienes que usar el circuito para conectarlo con la batería, de lo contrario no funcionará.

Nice ask, but I am not facing any issue yet, it is working normally till now as it should work in default state.
FYI, I am getting around 3 hours of battery backup if the song is played in normal volume
and 2 hours if I am playing it in loud volume
I've done it before... Now a longer battery backup than the battery that comes with the speaker.... Only battery fitting problem.... 😁😁After installing the nokia battery, mine did not recharge, then i removed the middle wire connected to the battery. It's all good.....
Means you didnkt connected the pcb of the jbl battery with another battery?
If this than did you experienced any time of heating problem in ic ?

No, no usé batería Samsung en mi caso. Usé batería Nokia. La batería Samsung que compré era una batería falsa / dañada que me vendió el vendedor, sin embargo, si la batería está en buen estado, puede usarla de la misma manera que yo usé la batería Nokia.

No, I did not used samsung battery in my case. I used Nokia battery. The Samsung battery which I have purchased was fake/damaged battery sold to me by seller, how ever if the battery is healthy then you could use it the same way as I have used Nokia battery

Thanks, Its working fabulously till now with the same backup. I would recommend 5V 1A charger for it.
However I am using 5V 2A mi charger, but no issue till now. It completely depends upon battery quality.
NOTE: when ever it is fully charged, its highly recommended to remove it from charging.

you will observe the red LED is glowing, once it will stop glowing - it means it is fully charged.
When Speaker is ON:
you will see multicolor light will glow from same LED - after full charge it will show stable blue light

without the battery driver circuit its not possible, umm you can purchase mini battery charger circuit, but you have to make sure it should fit inside the chassis.

Normally you can not do the charging and turning it onn at the same time if the battery is dead.
for battery replacement you could follow the instruction given in the video.

What model of battery did you used?
Its a mobile phone battery you can search it with name Nokia BL5C battery.
I have Jbl go n its 4 years old getting on only when charging n when plug charger red light show for 30/35sec rest not shows in any time of charging is it faulty battery dead or normal charging won't LST for 20min
FYI, the present battery can be considered as dead, replacement of battery is needed for sure.

Try using red and black wire only. And connect it to pcb check if it works.

Its completely depends upon the availability of space, if BL-4UL battery can be fixed inside the speaker then go ahead with it, it will work. 🙂

@@abhijithnv3459 make sure you have connected the power controller small PCB circuit. check if you have detached it from the previous/old battery.

@@abhijithnv3459 I would suggest not to do the direct soldering of battery from the bigger PCB. you can solder it via small power controller PCB.

In case it is still not playing sound, you have to do a basic connectivity check for all the existing connection. and check the LED status.
Better connect it as I mentioned above and the try to connect it with power source and check if it is charging and check the charging indication on LED, if it will show the red indication it means it is getting charged and the connection is proper.

Yes its outdated and you won't get it in the market.
1st ur using nonoriginal jbl go device, original jbl go device, r hard to disassembly, if u disassembly with that way, original jbl go body will be crack, 2nd in original jbl go, after replacing battery with that technique, device cant charging anymore
