Having aim so good with the Lewis Gun that people think you're scripting also helps. Lol. The Heavy weapon TTKs aren't great so you can't afford to miss.

For a follow up video at some point, I think a deeper breakdown of how to properly solo IGL in ranked would be interesting. I have been doing that more since teaching some of my other friends the game, and I feel like it’s been hard to tell if I am doing it well. Especially cause they often don’t give me info since they don’t know the game.

i call this loadout "dive": flamethrower, charge and slam, RPG, dome, goo. charge for breaking walls and finishing kills, flame for fast-paced no aim gameplay done easy, dome for steals and cover, goo for distanced instant cover / covering holes you make
Love the video, although I would argue the medium should be/could also be the shotcaller. As the medic they are paying more attention to the team than anyone. They can see when you're getting overwhelmed, when everyone is healthy, and whether they can afford to keep everyone in the fight longer or not based on healgun/defib cooldowns. If the medium says it's time to bounce, it's time to bounce.
I like using mesh shield to easily counter frag grenades but sometimes my random teammates just pretend i don't exist and going further from my shield😭
HHM and MMH is still strong. In some cases, with the right loadout and the right players. It can even outclass MMM. LMH is also balanced in my opinion.
i always take pyro mines over C4, the amount of start/midfight kills/damage i get with them is honestly way better than any stall with C4 in my experience, then again i'm not even diamond but it has worked all the way to emerald in WT
Pyro Mine + C4 means you can remote detonate your Pyro to set the cashout on fire and drop it through the floor for tons of stall. The Pyro Mine can also detonate the C4 if an enemy walks onto a mined cashout carelessly for an instant kill.
If you're solo queueing the optimal load out depends on what your teammates can and cannot provide, so the meta pretty much goes out of the window. Pyro mines are definitely good.
Seriously, who thought it was a good idea to make Heavies the unstoppable juggernauts they are now? Lights are getting one-shotted left and right, and the stun gun is about as effective as a wet noodle. It's like the devs are trying to make this game as frustrating as possible. Maybe they should just rename it 'The Heavy Show'.
Wait what? The game is in a pretty balanced state and lights are notoriously difficult to balance. But the devs have done an EXCELLENT job with the stun gun. If you need a stun gun to kill someone you weren't that good enough to kill them anyway. Typical light players forcing Embark to nerf heavy to the ground by being the loudest in the room.
@@r3versse I'm a heavy main, and I think heavy should be nerfed still. Lights needs a MASSIVE buff to stay relevant. They have already heavily nerfed dash, stuns, XP54 and all gadgets they have while constantly buffing heavy. I think the health regen of heavy should be slowed down some more and dome shield completely removed from heavy.

you CANNOT be useless with heavy. You don't even have to shoot back . Just absorbing damage is plenty help in a fight.

Pyro mines are funny but i prefer to throw a c4 under a cashout go floor below and just chill there until someone tries to steal it
