I can’t blame the Swap!Sans at the beginning for defending FanonSwap Sans. Afterall he didn’t know FanonSwap Sans was cringe as we say. He probably does not even know what that word even means.
That, and the fact that "sugar rush" is a thing. It's just a single comic but it is the definitive version of "blueberry" that you'll find that isn't referred to as fanonswap or involves any shipping taint.
What's even worse is that it's a trashy flanderization of a flanderization from a goofy underswap comic. It's like if wario's transition from wario land to warioware made him into a wannabe booger man who sniffs his behind every few seconds. (Saying this as even warioware's wario, who is just about the same person but from a different perspective, has some character to him aside from being a gross-out character.) The degenerative pieces of sweet corn turned a short comic about a hyperactive swap sans into the very reason the undertale fandom was hated (among other awful things that were shoe-horned) & one of the major reasons morty/popcornpr1nce left.

Papyrus isn't a cinnamon roll, but definitely has a jolly attitude. Him being sans of all people doesn't make him cute either. SR-Underswap's/Sugar rush's blueberry is not the physical embodiment of "papyrus's innocence". If anything, he's Lancer before Lancer existed outside of a card deck.
What about crossbones? Or sugar rush / OG blueberry. (Basically swap sans from a single comic where he's basically a flanderized lancer who's reaction to sugar is equal to a kid on christmas morning.)

In the comic, which may I mind you is rather short, he's convinced by papyrus to try some honey in hopes it'd stop his, and I quote, "awful puns". The honey contained enough sugar to get him bouncing off the walls, even exclaiming "HUMAN" excessively (as the human was nearby) and generally acting more hyper than a kid at a candy store. The comic ends with papyrus having to take a now worn-out blueberry back home once the sugar rush subsides. There's not much to go off of, but from one perspective, I'd imagine blueberry not being a fan of some 'weird copycat' (possible comment). You'd have to read the comic yourself to understand what I mean.
There is a reason it cus the fanon fans ruined under swap with their take, only the original should exist, the "classic" swap or whatever is what the fanon fans did after finding out about the original, and still messing it up anyway. You don't have enough information to realise the justification behind the hating, I don't personally do it but I don't disagree either

As far as I am aware, some AU owners gave up on their AU with something as simple as some people simply calling their characters the names they did not want to, which is an obvious case of overexaggerating. I try to understand why this fandom is self-hating.
