- Well turns out my Lexus RCF recently got a recall on the fuel pumps, so I took it to my girl Miranda at Newport Lexus. Parts take about a week to arrive and you HAVE to ask your advisor to order them. Process is about 1 day turn around.
Also they fill up your gas tank so don’t forget to take it in empty!

A recall is not unreliable. It's saying "we are doing our homework and taking responsability for this". And it's absolutely okay.

Fixed mine almost a month ago when bullets garage posted the recall alert on his channel . This is old news homie and it’s not faster how could it be ? The pumps are just better built but don’t exert more fuel any faster . One question though do you ever track the dudes working on your car on the Lexus remote app? I saw my dealership take my car like a mile up the road on the gps tracker last time LOL . No hate all love to the channel just feel like the content is being made up of simple stuff you’ve already gone over to fill up the time as of lately. Do some dope racing in Mexico put the RCF against some new 2018 GT mustangs since they have the same engine now. I’ve only ran against 2017s in mine . I think this would be a good comparison and great video content.

The recall replaces the pumps with safer pieces with different banjo bolts from the fuel hard lines. The holes are actually smaller, due to the old pumps over-feeding fuel, causing leaks. So no, you will not be faster.

Be more educated on the recall before suggesting it affects ISFs because it does not. This is only GSF, RCF, and LC500 . Also unreliable is a huge stretch especially when it is a improvement being taken care of free by the manufacturer.

Recalls have nothing to do with reliability and the cost of ownership of a car. Those repairs aren't coming out of your pocket. All Auto manufactures have recalls. Toyota, Honda, Chrysler, GM, BMW, Mercedes, Hyundai, Ford etc were all recalled for the same Air bag recall because of Takata mass produced defected airbags. That's a supplier issue rather than specific to the manufacture.
This is by far the most beautiful RCF I've ever seen - cross that, it's the most beautiful Lexus I've ever seen! And I've seen the LFA and LC500... It almost looks like something Bruce Wayne would drive...

Yeah it’s about as equal to a bolt on 5.0 or a new auto Camaro ss. Cars around here go 80-90 on the highway at all times unless there’s traffic

raysp3c Sorry RCF can't keep up with all stock 2018 Mustang GT 10 speed 460hp/420tq 0-60 under 4 sec, 1/4 mile in low 12's and high 11's weight 3705lbs. SS Camaro 8 speed similar #'s 455hp/455tq weights 3685lbs!!! RCF performance wise doesn't stand against the new Camaro and Mustangs even 16,17 SS Camaro are way faster. 2015 Mustang 350GT 4.1 0-60 low 12's car. Now RCF has other great qualities to it the interior, quality built and of course The Styling but when it comes to Performance it just can't compete.
Weapon1 ISF new mustang with a 10 speed should be faster yea. 8 speed Camaro is a good race, I’ve raced my friends like 1000 times. Rcf is a dog at the drag strip.

No offense but it's nowhere in the same realm as a bolt on 5.0 or SS. Both those cars are around 3700lbs with the same HP as you. Both also have 12 second 1/4 miles.
This Lexus is pretty much a GT car. Like a Maserati or Aston Martin. Luxury with speed as secondary

I have a 2004 Lexus RX330 and it has held up quite well. The knock sensors on the 3mz fe engine tend to give out. Besides the susceptibility of sludge buildup and knock sensor failures, they are still virtually indestructible engines. Synthetic oil would solve the sludge issue with these old mz series V6s.
