Thx for yours videos, they really help me a lot to play the game well. However are you sure that you can use the two potions at the same time at the end of the scenario ? They are both items cards and I thought that this kind of move was forbidden, am I wrong ?
It's hard to see what the order of operations are. The rule is, a single player can only use a single card type once per check. So yes, you can only use a single item per check. What happened here was a charisma check to defeat the villain. I used 1 item, the Potion of Glibness to automatically pass the test. Villain defeated; check over. The Tot Flask says I can use it when I use a liquid Item card, which I did to bury it rather than banish it. TLDR: The Potion of Glibness was used on the Villain check. The Tot Flask was used on the Potion of Glibness.
Zero Budget Geek Thank you for your quick answer. It makes sense, these are two different checks. I thought it was like casting a spell at a monster and then use another spell to reduce damage: my mistake, these situations are different indeed. Thanks again for your help :)
Thanks for doing this. I enjoy your videos. You silly guy! Why did you explore at the Docks without an ally in your hand? Always look at the closing requirements before sending a character to a location. It's tough playing two characters with four-card hands. Your turns are going to be limited in the number of explores. Fortunately, in a two-character game you usually have plenty of time. It's funny that you kept the Potion of Glibness in your hand without knowing the villain had a Diplomacy check to defeat.Crazy good luck. I'm puzzled why you considered discarding cards from Oloch's hand to look for another Blessing of the Gods. The villain only had one check to defeat, and each character can only play one blessing on each check, so one was all he needed.
+elcoderdude Well the tactical reasons are that I'm stupid and strategically, I'm a dumb ass! I kept the Glibness because with the ally pile thing going on, I felt like it might come in handy. Thank you so much for watching I really hope you take a look at some of the non-board game videos I do, I try to keep them in the realm of board games. I really like digital table top games too.
@@ZeroBudgetGeek I actually probably would have done the same as you planned to do, trying to get another blessing to Oloch's hand for the boss encounter - you could have given it to the Gunslinger, so two blessings on the roll :D
Thanks very much for this video, big help for me.
