I love that Super Pets was mentioned! It is the card game version of the tamagotchi pets I took care of as a 90's kid. 😂 A great family game too. I'm so intrigued by Creature Caravan. I love the simultaneous play in Come Sail Away, so I think I would like this.
I loved Wild Gardens! Dwayne, the theme made me think of you: gathering ingredients to cook food for your friends. 😊 Happy New Year to you and Alicia from me and Michelle!
Happy and Healthy New Year to you and everyone here! :D Thank you for sharing your gaming explorations and hope you have the chance to play plenty of great games this year!
Excellent lists! Alicia putting Windmill Valley as #1 definitely makes me want to play it much more as I like similar weight of games as her. (Next time I play my copy of Wild Gardens….I will look more closely at that character!) Thanks for the video and Happy New Year!!
Love the lists, so many fun games there. I got Wild Gardens for Xmas and I’m psyched to play with the solo campaign! And yes that is a beautiful color shirt you’re wearing Alicia, you look great in it! Actually both of you are rocking some awesome colors. 💜💙
Oh man! I was so happy to see Mistwind! It’s such a great game and I can’t understand why hardly anyone is even mentioning it, let alone putting it in their top games. I’m so glad I found someone who agreed with me that it’s fantastic.
Really great list of games! All super good. I think 2024 was very good (I agree with Dwayne) and SETI is one of my top games! Also, if you can get it and like a heavier game, check out Civolution. It is really good solo as well (and I don't play solo games very often).
I'm so excited you mentioned Super Kawaii Pets! I just bought it for my friend's granddaughter (she's 12) who's one of my best gaming partners. I found it at my FLGS, and it looked like something Sadie would like, and it has a solo mode. I'm happy to get a thumbs up from Alicia! And I love River Valley Glassworks, that's probably my favorite of the year. And Dewayne - Mistwind looks very interesting, because flying whales!?!?!!!?! 😁😁😁
I played 18 games released in 2024 last year. My top were: 1 Galileo Galilei 2 Tír na nÓg 3 Gnome Hollow 4 Águeda: City of Umbrellas 5 Castle Combo 6 The Search for UAPs 7 French Quarter 8 Donut Shop 9 Aqua ROVE: Results-Oriented Versatile Explorer 10 Spectacular 11 Café Baras 12 Harmonies 13 Color Field 14 Maple Valley 15 Another Man's Treasure I really need to try Windmill Valley.
Representation matters!!
I love that you saw yourself in a game and you were excited 😊
@@ajoytoknow she was so excited! The diversity of the characters in Wild Gardens was refreshing.

@@crosscutgames I unfortunately wasn't able to make my Friday night game group when Civolution was the game being played. I was sooo bummed😔😔😔
I picked up Super Kawaii Pets at PAX and I can't wait to play it!
Great lists! It'd be boring if everyone had the same picks!
Will we have any crossovers??? Maaaaaybeeee!
