Thanks to the suggestions from you guys, here is a follow-up video on how to fold the Godox Reflector back into the round bag. It also guides you on how to fold a softbox as well, both follows a similar Logic. Check it out before you start setting up your reflector! th-cam.com/video/_XMn9ImaXAI/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for your video on reflectors. I've noticed some very successful photography TH-camrs not use use them or even ND filters on bright sunny for portraits but give up and pack it in basic 101 photography.
You can also put your camera on a tripod and use a remote trigger, this way you have more control over the light when using a reflector/light. Just another option
thank you so much for pointing this out Shubhangi, much appreciated. I was not using any external mics for my older videos, so that's probably why the audio is softer. But will keep this in mind for future vids! thanks a ton for the suggestion
@@BelindaJiao I have seen many people taking about photography ideas with prime lenses, so I would like to see what kind of techniques you advice for beginners. Also the most important topic I look for is Photography travel kit you carry.
Hey there, yes i understand it would be helpful to see the before and after. These were client shoots so I couldn’t afford to take away the reflector, but to give you a bit more perspective, large reflectors work especially well, even at 50mm distances under sunny days and perhaps intense afternoon light :) hope that helps!
@@BelindaJiao I actually just bought one that is pretty huge like yours! I'm just starting out and this is my first reflector I've purchased. I didn't expect it to be so big and I saw that people would hire assistants to help them but that isn't an option for me, for now at least. So I stumbled upon your video and seeing your advice made me feel less discouraged and the tips you gave were very helpful 🙏
Amazing! Everyone starts somewhere, so good for you :) actually more people hold their own reflectors than you imagine lol they just don’t go around making videos about it haha
@@AgnieRF I seldom do, because my reflectors are large enough to cover the subjects I shoot, at most heights. I do have clamps, for studio shoots just in case, but mostly I just wing it ;)
you are fully right, a reflector is a must have for portrait shoots and yes if you don't have anyone helping you, help yourself :) well explained (even if you could smile a bit more :D )

You are the reflector yourself. Amazing.
yea perhaps the most versatile way of going about it tbh
Big help.. Thank you for sharing!
It's so true that everything seems impossible until it's done.
My pleasure there! U thinking of going professional?
I am going to watch this again. I have been watch way too many photography videos in one night. Your technique is interesting.
Son, good for you! Did you just buy a reflector recently?
You can also put your camera on a tripod and use a remote trigger, this way you have more control over the light when using a reflector/light. Just another option
Let's dive in. Yes.
I am literally going to my first photoshoot with a reflector and this video is very useful
Hey Diego this is amazing! Best of luck for it, you will do well :)
@@BelindaJiaothanks! i'll tag you when uploaded in my IG!
How did it go?
I'm thinking of getting a triangle style reflector to attach to a tripod or should I get clamshell ?
by clamshell, I assume that you are talking about two soft boxes?
Learned a lot.
Something I struggle with always. Thanks for the video. Just a suggestion, can you make the audio a little louder for your videos?

Mohanlal thanks for contributing ideas! Noted, I will fit them into my uploading schedule :)
I wish there were before and after shots with and without the reflector positioned that far away

Yes i know friends who do that personally!
Excellent tips!
horatka, my pleasure! (:
@@BelindaJiao Sure thing! Do you ever use any holders/grips for your reflectors, especially if you want to hold it higher?
