Things I Learned Publishing my First Book During a Pandemic

On April 1, 2020, I released my book When Magic Calls: A Collection of Modern Fairy Tales. I had two book release parties, conferences, and signings scheduled. All of that was cancelled. I was disheartened and very, very disappointed, by my book’s “new release” status was counting down. So I got creative and turned this into a learning experience. This is what I learned releasing my first book during a pandemic.
