Sorry for late reply, you can remove aeration in this filter If you already have 36cm aeration bubble diffuser.

@@rishikadas7437 This filter is little high power and will create unnecessary vortex within aquarium which disturb the fish in long run. Instead, go for 'sobo wp 950f' this is 6w filter which will work fine in 18inch aquarium. Stay tuned 👍👍
