I have a multi-function rechargeable flashlight, not the same ones you've tested, and to turn it off without going through all of the functions.....simply press & hold the power button for like, less than 5 seconds and the flashlight turns off.
I love your videos and channel 💞❣️
@@TylerTube thanks for the links. I was interested in the sweeper thing.
That id police is especially useless when you realize you can do the same but better with a regular pen
I use one of those wide sharpies. Can't see nothing through it but then I also cut it up into a million little tiny pieces and dump a bunch of shit on the pieces
@@becki_booo I just remove all labels and burn them with other old paperwork every so often.
Never thought we would see Tyler clean out a pumpkin 😂
Not only does that old timer vacuum work great for surface cleaning. Your 3 or 4 year old grandchild feels so helpful to be able to help grandma with the house chores. The one back living room we had it in was the cleanest room in the house. All I had to do was empty it. 😊❤
It's used in restaurants a lot!
I grew up playing with them. Everyone had one for the rug in their living room and the door mats and runners. They work really well, and yes, as a child, they were actually fun.
Not sure about the new ones, but the old ones were great for a quick “sweep”.
My Nana let my brother & I play with hers to keep us busy!
We had a blast!
I used to play with my nan's one all of the time as a kid! Great memories ❤
My grandparents had one. Now I'm thinking about getting one. I think it's more of a broom than a vacuum, but I think it'll work good enough for a quick little pickup.
what did we use in old days to clean inside pumpkins ? a spoon ? try and compare with that
That’s what we did
And then you trick your younger siblings into eating it.
I was using my nails 😅
that doesnt make a bad product less bad just cause there is worse
I used an ice cream scoop when I was a kid the guts was the most fun part, washing and roasting the seeds
_"I've had ideas that were brighter than 5 lumens!"😂😂_
They use those duster vacs in many restaurants, because they are quiet, and they don't put a lot of dust in the air. They would grab it and run it across the floor several times a day so the dirt never got real heavy. For what they are, they do a decent job. Especially when you don't want a bunch of noise that would bother others. I think the size, weight, and amount of stuff you are trying to pick up, determins how fast you push it to be affective. My friends mom gave one to her kids as a Christmas gift. They would run around cleaning up stuff for fun and mom was secretly happy they were cleaning up after themselves and their siblings.
We had one that would pick up even after some small kid got crackers all over the floor without even electricity just roll it along and it picked it right up.
My grandma had one of those sweepers, and I’m old as fuck. I can’t believe they still make those.
Mine too, and I'm 58. They've been around for decades, how does he know about the sweeper?
I remember one in our church nursery back in the 80s. Reminds me of the era where they had those long towels in the bathroom that just rolled around, and just became more and more disgusting.
@@litigioussociety4249 I always hated those nasty towels. I refused to use them.
@@litigioussociety4249 Oh wow I hated those things. Jogged some memories there
You ain’t Old! They also still have push mowers.😊
I have the windshield cover, and you need to have it partially open so you can tuck the rear view slot behind the mirror, then you open it up completely. When you take it down, you undo the strap around the mirror, partially close it, take it away from the windshield, then close it up.
@tylertube
Bump
Does he not know that you put the visor down to hold the screen on?
Also a hatchback has a more sloped and therefore longer windscreen.
I like the innovative functionality of it, anyone who has struggled with those stupid square ones, trying to wrestle it into a circle for storage can attest, this is far better.
My only suggestion would be for loose flaps on the outside so that it can extend out a bit for more of a "universal" fit. And the outside should be either silver or black, sell it in a two pack.
I use the black side in winter ALL the time, it retains the heat and makes it a bit easier to defrost in -2°.
Might go buy one. And I haven't said that about any product he's reviewed.
Ive been using those Fuller carpet brushes for 40+ years, and yes, they work.
They aren't as good as a vacuum for getting dirt out of a carpet, but anything on the surface they will grab for sure.
Not batteries, they never break, and they are quiet and fast. Love them.
They were perfect for classrooms back in the day, when there was always lots of little paper pieces from the old spiral notebooks.
My father sold the Fuller Brush Carpet Sweepers back in the 1970's. They were great.
Back when I was a kid in the 70s, my mom had that sweeper. It worked well, but the brush would always get tangled up with hair & threads & I used to untangle it for my mom.
Hey Tyler there's a reason why every one of our great-grandmothers had one of those Vacuums in there house because they actually worked.
Tyler, you should save and roast the pumpkin seeds. That was on of the best part when we were kids.
I just said something relative to this! We also like making squirrel and bird snacks with them!
Pickle flavor pumpkin seeds
Use it with the windshield cover 😂 cook that shit
My mom still does that and they are really good
Salted and toasted pumpkin seeds are great but they're a pain in the as$ to separate from the guts of the pumpkin and if you don't thoroughly wash the guts off the seeds, it makes them really bitter. I recommend washing the seeds excessively.
I'm kind of shocked he didn't say the easiest and best way to dispose of paper documents was just lighting them on fire. Pretty easy and definitely not going to be able to get any useful information from ashes.
Where l grew up in the UK in the 70's, we couldn't afford pumpkins even if we could find them, so we generally carved jack o lanterns out of large turnips called swedes.
They're tough and difficult to carve so parents or adults would carve them out and the flesh would be boiled and mashed with carrots or potatoes so as not to waste it.
Delicious.
The Americans tend to call swedes a rutabaga. You forgot to put butter in your mash... Extra delicious! Could be a right bugger to carve, as a youngun, though.
Carrot and turnip mash best thing ever. Oops North orange swedes are go by the name turnip. It's almost turnip war season !!
@@MrPGT no mate, we put margarine, milk and pepper in them, butter if we could afford. 👍🏻
Those manual sweepers are great when you have just a little something on the floor like....a bit of fluff etc, and you cant be bothered to get the vacuum out
or you just dont want to make your tinnitus any more worse
You have to scrap out the pumpkin so the candle doesn’t set the guts on fire
And so the light comes through. You don't want a floating eyes and mouth, you want people to see the pumpkin too.
@@nixie9what..? youd be able to see the light just fine
I scrape the side of the pumpkin that I do the carving on, so indeed, it lights up better.
Nah, setting a pumpkin on fire is waaaay harder than you'd think. Those things have so much water in them, and wet stuff doesn't like to burn.
You must be a mom. They’re the only people that think vegetables are highly flammable, as well as anything else placed next to a candle
For sensitive info i just rip it up and soak it in a bottle of water and then shake it till it turns to paper soup
Honestly the things some of you people do...
Or just burn it.
@@choccolocco that works too lol
I rip mine up goes into a small box when it gets filled I burn it.
'I've had ideas brighter than 5 Lumens' Oh god, that's epic!
ikrrr ahaha i came to comment this
My little LED night light is like 40
Another flaw with that ID police thing is that you can easily wipe off the ink, even days later after it dries.
Especially if you use it on labels (shipment labels)
Dude It seemed like this thing was inking the letters making them more visible. Kinda crazy if that's right
@@JwaynedonksonIt does. The ink from the roller highlights the print already on the paper. It is even worse if you use the right kind of light source, like polarized light.
Tyler amazed by technology that's been around for DECADES is hilarious. 😂
BTW: The Flippity Fish is a CAT toy.
My wife bought one for the cat, he was freaked out by it. The dog stole it and finished it off for him in about 2 seconds.
That was great. Tyler had me cracking up with the flippy fish!
I look at the title and yell yessss, and I see it's a long one.... and I die from happiness. Yes, I was bored af, but ..... bliss lol😂
25:22 "You can't sweep unless you plug into a wall. So this is impossible ." What about a normal broom? Haha
Came to the comments immediately after he said this 😂
Probably thought you got an electric broom, like his electric hammer. LOL
He did say that was when he was a kid and as an adult he is about 5 lumens so he was probably very not bright as a kid
I used one of those sweepers at work, (although i did work at a movie store that is not where i used it) I used it in a cafe, and it worked pretty well for picking up things like bits of popcorn and chip crumbs, but it dosnt replace a vacuume cleaner it just grabs all the stuff you can see.
Good in a clothing store--doesn't disturb customers like a vacuum cleaner. I should add it is bad with thread that must be cut off the roller. Yucky job. Emptying it wasn't much fun, either.
As soon as you came to the Fuller sweeper, I knew you would be blown away by the results for two reasons: 1) Fuller name brand products are incredibly amazing. 2) I have one of these and know how good it works. Glad you're giving the Fuller sweeper a good home, Tyler. Excellent reviews on all of the products in this video.
I have one of those umbrella things for the car and I love it!! Edited to add that I put the sun visors down to hold it in place.
Yes! I'm glad someone said it. You have to do that with every one they've ever made. The sun visor is what holds them up.
Bro, what happened to the pumpkins nose why you gotta do him like that lol
It's the pumpkin expert. Self proffesed.
It looks okay without a nose
The pumpkin is not scaring anyone with that face 😭 @@mrJimmyLunch
A statute mile ("land mile") is 5280 feet. A nautical mile is defined as 1852 meters, or 6076 feet. When I was in the Navy we just used 2000 yards = nautical mile as a rough estimation. So a nautical mile is longer than a statute mile. They probably used nautical miles, as the only way you'd see that thing at 5 miles would be over the open ocean at darkest night!
Starting the definition of a mile with meters just seems wrong.
a nautical mile is 1.15 “ land mile “👍
Tyler the pumpkin kit, you use the long glove to just scrape the goo and the short glove to pick up the goo.
Love the your mom jokes lol
“Ideas brighter than 5 lumens” while reviewing a flashlight. Tyler got bars.
I’m 61, I not only remember Blockbuster, I remember people owning the same carper cleaner before Blockbuster
When I saw the Carpet & Floor Sweeper I knew Tyler would give it shit but then it works well. Used something a lot like that working at a restaurant since they can easily be used to pick up quick messes and doesn't make loud noises.
Growing up, my church had those powerless vacuums all the time, and I loved those things! The sound they made is burned into my head forever. 🤣 I think they're ideal for places like restaurants or movie theaters were you don't want to be making noise running a full vacuum, but you just need to sweep up a bit. They are by no means a vacuum replacement.
I've always felt bad for companies like Bell & Howell... They get their name sold off to cheap companies that make cheap crap.....
Bell & Howell used to make some really high grade equipment. Now? Some dude in China's laughing "Silly Americans.... You think this is still high quality?"
I have one of those Fuller sweepers because I have two long haired cats. It's easier than dragging the vacuum out for small jobs. It works ok but the handle wants to unscrew constantly.. 6 out of 10 IMO. They were fairly common in the 1970's. I've seen them used in movie theaters too..
A drop of Loctite thread locker or superglue, even rubber cement would probably help. Unless you NEED to unscrew it again, anytime.
2:03 surprisingly those knives are pretty good for carving pumpkin. And people.... 😮
I worry about you.
The flippity fish is for cats 😂 always wanted to give one to my cats. I think they'd like it. Forgot it existed
Back in the 1970's my dad had one of those carpet sweepers & they're very well made back then. It worked great!
I think they mean road salt, like they use in Winter. I use these at work for that specific reason, since road salt can eat through a vacuum motor like nothing.
The reason that roller works when you go over once but stops working when you go over multiple times is because it's the pattern that makes it harder to distinguish between the freshly rolled ink and the printed ink, once you layer it in freshly rolled in you can see the difference between the two blacks much more clearly. There are other rollers that just do a wavy pattern and they're much better.
I completely expected you to carve "Your Mom" into the pumpkin lol
Put the visor down to hold the windshield screen 😂
The last item, the fish, is actually a cat toy called a Kicker. I have 2 of them and can't keep them charged, the batteries don't last very long on full charge.
I have one and my cat hid it somewhere. We couldn't find it for months.
I was going to say that it would suit a cat better than a dog. My dog also like to make sure its toys cease to exist. The cats are a little more tolerant in that way, but not a great deal. 🐕🐈
We had one (functioning) for about 2 minutes. Cat was scared of it and the dog took care of the problem for him.
@@MrPGTif you look at the link, it actually specifies a cat. I think a dog would have that ripped up in seconds
I remember having one of those carpet sweeper things when I was a kid in the 80s. My mother used it for day to day upkeep so she wouldn't have to use the actual vacuum as often. And it worked great.
Then I bought one a few years back and it worked like shit.
I just used a good ole serving spoon to clean out 3 pumpkins today. Way quicker. The carving knives are good, though.
The little sweeper was my first vacuum when I moved out of the house, Worked great because it went from floor to carpet with no problem, I may have to order one again,
Depending on where you are, JML make one in available stores that sell their items. In the UK, Bissell were the major name, Argos will have them. In north America it would likely be Fuller, as Tyler used. Edited mostly for spelling.
@24:00 those damn "sweepers" have been around for a long time. I remember seeing one of those at my grandmas house back in the late 80's.
Oh, and how the hell do you not have a shop-vac? You have every other power tool in your garage but no shop vac? Damn if I had the money laying around I would buy one for you.
Back in the day I worked part time at A&W, and at Shoney's restaurants. They both had these sweepers, which worked very well. Way better than sweeping with a broom/dust pan or vacuuming in front of dining customers.
Let’s be honest here. Tyler really wanted to test the windshield shade to show us his new truck! Got rid of the old Tacoma and got a tundra I see
Put the pumpkin out in the woods after Halloween fir the animals...deer ..squirrels...bear and other critters love pumpkin
Yeah we collect from all our neighbors and make a bait patch. Shot us a couple of bears and a buck in 4 evenings. Great bait.
Just remember to change from slugs for bears to buck shot for deer. We didn’t and blow the head of a large trophy buck so no head mounting. But the dogs like what was left of the head and antlers
40:02 “I’ve had ideas that were brighter than 5 lumens” 💀
I just love these videos when sometimes Tyler has to eat his words!! The floppy fish is a good cat toy my cat loves it.
I remember seeing those sweepers at restaurants and lot. Quiet so it won't disturb anyone. Nice to clean up after little Timmy spent the entire time smashing up soup crackers.
I just had to say this about the fish toy you got, DO NOT give that to your dog, that IS NOT a dog toy, that is actually a CAT toy, and it PROBABLY came with a little bag of catnip that you also put inside the fish so that your cat will play with it longer, I know this because I got that toy years ago and my cat plays with it ALL THE TIME! and she loves it
grabbing pumpkin guts was the best part of carving then washing and roasting the seeds
Those manual sweepers are great for quick cleanup.
Never thought I’d see the day Tyler would be doing ASMR videos with a pumpkin.
It sure would be cool if Tyler pickled that pumpkin to try it later and see how it comes out.
“Leave it on your porch til May” truer words have never been spoken. We always left them there until they started to rot. One year it was unusually cold for the entire winter, so the pumpkin was basically frozen until March and it never really got the chance to rot, just sort of freeze dried. Wasn’t until my grandma asked why tf we still have a pumpkin out in March that it was thrown out.
These are my favorite kind of videos. Thanks Tyler!
Back when I was a kid, we just used the biggest metal spoon in our silverware drawer to scoop out our pumpkins. As I got older, I found that the little plastic scrapers used to clean dishes/pans work FANTASTIC.
I kinda feel like many of these "As Seen on TV" products are made with the intention of solving problems that don't exist.
ID Police IRL: metal trash can and a match.
Don't forget to mix the ashes
@@aprilmoore5287Yes! Water and a stick. 👍
You scrape out the inside of the pumpkin because that will rot faster than the rind of the pumpkin. It’s much easier for mold and bacteria to feed off of that wet stuff than the harder dryer rind. Also, whenever that stuff dries your candle can easily light it on fire.
Alright credit, quote " I've had ideas that were brighter then 5 lumens " now that's priceless
i think the "ink roller" is meant to obfuscate the original text, instead of covering it up.
Hence why you can see it easier if the ink is entirely on there, because at that point you can make out the text by comparing contrasts of printer ink and the roller ink.
Also, shredding things can still be put back together if you REALLY want to. So burning it or dissolving it in water and flushing it down the toilet would be better if your life depends on it.
"ive had ideas brighter than 5 lumens" has me dying lmao
Scary, but true! Also, that is when the trouble (and the explanation in front of the judge) started!🤣
get ready for him to do everything wrong as usual
You know what would work better than that Dust Daddy thing? A bundle of regular straws.😂
I bought the Fuller Brush sweeper a few years ago and it worked really well also....My father in law , years ago, worked at Fuller Brush in Hartford, CT....and made brushes....thanks for the demo
Only this channel Tyler would clean something with an old Tammy sweeper and then pour it back on the rug man. My grandmother would’ve whoop my ass. It took names LMAO.
3:00 - I hated and loved the sound that made when you pulled the top off the pumpkin. Utter shock at how brutal that sounded for a pumpkin. 😆😆
10:26 - "Finished Jack 'o Lantern". You gotta cut out a nose, ya goofball.
Our family cabin in Montana that is from the early 90s has one of those broom/sweepers. Called the zoom broom
The straw attachment is literally made to do just small crevice and dust, it’s not meant to vacuum a table. Milwaukee makes a version for their shop vacs and it works like a beast
The window shade wouldn't make it hotter than the vehicle already gets every day. So your mirror would be just fine. Sedans and maybe even compact cars would likely have a taller windshield to improve their aerodynamics. They don't do it as much with trucks because they're not really designed for the same kind of use.
He was talking about if your mirror (or dashcam) was left in between the glass and the shade, and not tucked through into the cabin. It would absolutely cook in there.
@@MrPGT I know. It still wouldn't get hotter than the rest of the vehicle would without the shade. So there's no risk to the mirror with or without the shade, regardless of where the mirror is. Not from heat anyway.
I used to work at AT&T and we had one of those sweeper things, but it had a more industral look. it worked pretty well for bigger debris for the most part, plus it wasn't loud so you can still clean up a mess without disturbing business/interrupting people talking
The scraper is a cool idea, but a good old fashioned spoon works just fine. Just may get your arm a bit messy without the protection of their pumpkin themed dishwashers glove lol
My parents had a roller vacuum when I was a kid. I can still see it in my head because I was the primary operator lol
wow, the carpet sweeper took offence in what you said back then and improved hard to come back with a vengance
I prefer the strategy of burning documents, a little late night grilling action on a cold evening.
16:25
Not downplaying your content or anything but The fact that people would ACTUALLY buy this to cover up sensitive details blows my mind! 😅
Being serious tho:
IF you have to put sensitive info in the trash then PLEASE use a micro-cut shredder that specify a security level of P-5 or higher. It shreds your paper into micro confetti style pieces.
I have the same rug at home, and I can confirm that it does indeed hold onto dog hair with extreme strength!
If you have a document or something that's sensitive, just save it in your house in a bag and when you've accumulated a little bit of it, just burn it as kindling for a campfire. Can't read ash and smoke
Amazing! A whole industry of pumpkin farmers and makers of those glovescrapers, just to carv a lamp for halloween?
Can't wait till my 500% markup rolling stamp with sharpie ink comes in the mail!
We used to use a big carpet sweeper in my uncle's florist way back in the 70s. It worked great at picking up leaves, stems and other debris where an electric vaccuum cleaner would have just clogged up. Most stems would have even been too big to pick up at all for a vacuum. I loved using it as a kid back then to help out my uncle! Thay have been around for a LONG time, by the way. 👍👍
I'm probably showing my age, but the push sweepers were widely used in schools in my area when I was a kid. I was fascinated by them then and it's cool to see they're still in production now. If someone spilled their pencil shavings on the floor, those things would pick it up like magic. I might have to buy one if nothing more than for nostalgia.
Who is old enough to remember the “Zoom Broom” carpet sweeper
Now roast the pumpkin seeds, tasty treat.
"Sometimes, my brain doesn't work". Lots of meme potential right there.
The reason people scrape everything out of the inside of a pumpkin is that stuff is used to make pumpkin pie and also you can roast the seeds and it's a great snack.
You forgot the pumpkin nose LOL
So in regards to tearing up paper to destroy information, while it is a common method and decently reliable there was a whole thing where the CIA or FBI dumped a bunch of shredded documents in another country and weavers in that country were able to reassemble the documents back into their original state and recover classified information.
If the information being shredded is more valuable than the insane trouble of piecing it back together than shredding is not a good disposal method. It's a simple cost analysis. Not rocket science.
Governments use high speed shredders that only cut them into strips. They use them if they need to get rid of massive amounts of paper. There are high security shredders, but they're slow and can only shred 12 pieces at a time, but turn the paper in basically pulp.
@FreelancerFreak incineration is even more secure though indeed a fine enough shredding is likely equivalent and more environment friendly
I tear mine up, mix all the papers together, then throw it into different trash cans around the house
Shredded paper still burns better
0:20 they need to have a website itself for as seen on TV products 😂
I thought I remember that being a thing. Maybe not.
They have an as seen on tv store in our local outlet mall in savannah ga
I miss my Bushnell TRKR 225L, it seems brighter than that Bell&Howell. It lasted a punishing 11 years and I used it all the time. Plus it had 3 Red LEDs and 3 UV LEDs (for hunting a blood trail). It had 4 useful modes Hi/Lo, Red only, and UV, only. I bought it mainly for use during Astronomy sessions with my Telescope because of how bright the Red mode was. However it quickly became an everyday carry flashlight. BTW most flashlight manufacturers do a little camera trick for those photos on the packaging. They usually shoot a long exposure photo and it causes more light to show up in the pictures.
Those carpet sweepers are used alot in restaurants
the scrambling roller is to make things unreadable on camera - the original is still supposed to go through a shredder. It is to not dox yourself when you hold mail up on video. To see if it works, look if you can make out text on a stream.
Tyler makes my head hurt with his explanations 😂
the carpet sweeper you hit the nail on the head it works great at surface cleaning my grandma had one and she would use that before she vacuumed the floors
