@@naruqla I don't want to answer for him but, the road 6 has better siping and water displacement. So if you put the road 6 on the front it can clear water out of the way, then the power 6, will then have the chance to use it's superior grip. Even though the power 6 has more outright grip, it will not matter in heavier rain as it can't displace as much water as the Road 6. Grip on wet surfaces has two parts. Grip on the damp surface and the ability to remove standing water.
Interesting. I have always thought that the softer compound tyre on the front is the best way to go, much better to have a low side rather than a high side spill/loss of grip!
I buy the power 6 because i think it is the most beautiful tire. Before i have the pilot road 2 on the back.
Road 6 on the front and power 6 on the rear Gen 1 zx10r

Ahh makes sense, thank you! currently rocking both tires with Road 6, love it so far. Will try this new setup for the next tire change.
