Life really can be very short I remember my nana, so well, like yesterday she has been gone for 38 years and my mum now gone 9 years, my mum never really got over her own mum passing away..... I miss you both so much god bless you I hope you are united ❤️
Possibly not a character many could describe as popular, but as an actress, Annie was simply outstanding. Her role in the 1983 love triangle was a case in point. In particular the final powerful scenes of it when Ken told her to pack her bags. She must have won awards for it. Top notch believable acting.
My favourite female character in corrie, I just adore attractive women with those big sexy glasses and she had both with a lovely smile far too young to have left us RIP anne
No surprise that the talentless actor who played Ken Barlow slagged her off. He couldn’t act his way out of a paper bag. he had only two expressions in the whole of his time he has been in Corrie. Just a very lucky man. Don’t watch it any more in my opinion it is now rubbish. (As I have said, only my opinion) William Roache one luck man
Roache will never be an actor if he lives to be a thousand. He is the last of the 'Woodentops'. David Platt was a better actor at 10 than Roache ever was or will be.

I thought she looked better looking with glasses on, I still watch the old classic corrie, better than the latest one
I remember Anne as more attractive sans spectacles, Malcolm, but I do agree with you re the Classic Times.
All the best. Stay free. Rab 🍻 😎 🕊
thanks for your comment , Take care 🙂
I watch the classic better than the today's rest in peace Anne
She was known as “Sexy Specs”. I think she did have a lot of male fans.
I went to school with Anne in the 60s
Cant believe i was 8 when she died but i still remember watching that episode so clearly
We will always remember you RIP.
This delightful lady died far too soon. Saw her on many interviews and she was so down to earth and lovely.
