In this video, I have explained how to reach to Shantiniketan from Kolkata? Where can you stay in Shantiniketan? Moreover, how can you see the famous locations? In general, the Shantiniketan tour itinerary for one night and two days.
Early in the morning, depart from Kolkata. To go to Shantiniketan, you can take the bus or the train. By train, Shantiniketan is about two hours away, and by bus, it takes around four hours. Bolpur Shantiniketan can be reached by noon if you get an early start. You should to have lunch after you check into your hotel. Next, reserve a Toto Rickshaw to explore the nearby attractions. Visit the Prakriti Bhavan Nature Art Museum first, then proceed to the well-known Sonajhuri Haat Shantiniketan, where a wide variety of products are available at extremely reasonable prices. Another well-known location close to Sonajhuri Haat is Salbani. After seeing these locations, you can go to the Kopai River's bank. Enjoy the sunset and spend the evening at the Kopai River's side.
Visit the well-known Kankalitala Temple first thing the following morning. It's around ten kilometers away from Bolpur Shantiniketan. There, puja can also be performed. After that, return to Shantiniketan and see the Viswa - Bharati campus, which is the main attraction there. You can still see Shantiniketan Ashram, Chatimtala, Upasana Griha, and other sites from outside even though the main campus is restricted to visitors. Next, proceed to the Rabindra Museum, which accepts tourists. After seeing all of the well-known sites, proceed to Surul Rajbari and Srijani Shilpagram. By afternoon, your Shatiniketan tour will be concluded. For these two days, the Toto Rickshaw would charge you back approximately Rs. 1200 to Rs. 1500. Once you return to your hotel, take the lunch and train back to Kolkata.
