Higgins is the first character in the series who take accountability for his actions, and as a result everyone else follows suit. Higgins really was the man.
This is the type of show that makes you wish you had this kind of positivity in your life, then keeps going until the point you realize maybe YOU have to be that positivity on your own. Absolute piece of gold fleece, this show.
i think helen mirren could have done it. if she was younger. i would have liked to have seen ruth wilson (his dark materials, the affair) or lena headey try it as i haven’t seen either in a comedy. but yes. hannah is perfect for the part.
Higgins is the secret heart of the show, you can't look at him being passed over for high fives in the first episode and then see him hosting Xmas Dinner and not know it!
She needs to apologize to Jamie Tartt. She sent him back to Manchester to hurt Ted and mess with the team. I know Jaime was being a prick but he was getting better and she sent him back to his abusive father, I know she didn't know but it is the reason he sabotages his career. Yes Jamie made his choices and he has to deal with the consequences, but she messed with his career for selfish and cruel reasons. She owes him an apology.
I love Rebecca, and her character and its growth but you're right - and also, as much as I love her (hats off to the actress) I feel it's less forgivable than *because* she did know, didn't she. It happened right after the ghost bon fire thing when Jamie opened up - all that happened and she still shipped him off to achieve her goal.
@@SharpShooter-1310 United did it first, United did it without oil money, United did it without 115 breaches, United did it with most academy players, I think I'm good.
A show with healthy masculinity, empowered female characters, the importance of compassion and empathy. I hate to tell you this (actually no I look forward to telling you this), but Ted Lasso is already a woke show. And it was from the very first episode.

He doesnt get as much credit. Good call
Also he was the head elf in Fred Claus so that makes him even cooler.

I love how Keeley doesn’t even let Rebecca respond. She is just like: ”Tell him or I do it for you” and walk out like a Bad*ss.
And cut Rebecca’s denial as she was trying to open her mouth
Cold!
Higgins is the MVP.

I was so proud of Higgins and it tied in nicely with that earlier scene when Higgins was amazing Keeley said it to her

Keeley is so fucking well-written and well-acted.
I wish she had more of an arc in season 3, the whole thing with Jack seemed to come out of nowhere and disappear just as suddenly

Honestly Rebecca was just as bad if not worse that Rupert in Season 1.
Her day went to shit pretty quickly.
Can anyone tell the song at the end ?
Diamond Dogs by David Bowie

Rebecca was Water Boarded for Her Treacherous Actions and further tortured by the Zombie Mountain. "Shame, Shame, Shame".
I can’t wait until this great show goes woke and broke
Depends on Apple.
What a pathetic thing to wish for
