I am thrilled that this is happening. Why in the world would my SS be adjusted DOWN ? I'm single and cannot afford to retire. My full SS would make a big difference. I paid into SS all those years with trust. Why are they calling it a PENALTY? I cannot retire because of this loss and I am of retirement age. Thank you for this good news.
I am happy that this is happening. I taught for 12 years before coming to California, and worked at other jobs, as well. It really is an unfair penalty.
