In my opinion, obectively you should only consider the Disco over an X5 if you need to have the off road capability. The Disco has a loveable character, but on all other fronts BMW is supreior.
Hi, is 2.7 hse 190 hp power enough for land rover sport? Does it move the vehicle smoothly? What is your fuel average in the city and outside the city?
Hi, this is a heavy car, so don't expect it be a rocket... mine had a re-map, it was ~220hp and 510Nm, this extra torque helped a lot. Also the 6speed automatic gearbox does it's job very well to keep the engine in a usable range all the time. Power delivery and in general it was smooth and comfortable. Re-map also helped on fuel consumption my average was around 19-22mpg mostly city drive.
