Hello, Stewart. Thank you! Your kind comments are really appreciated. The HVAC system in this home was a bit of a challenge. I really didn't get the system that I wanted, but this is what fit. That was the dilemma, not having the room to do something different. We ended up going with a Coleman furnace and a Payne air conditioner. Kind of a "hybrid" setup. My HVAC contractor did a great job putting it all together. It works very well. The thing about this setup is that it is not really vey energy efficient. The furnace is rated at 80% efficient. The air conditioner was only 14 SEER, I think. A more efficient system would be better but again, the equipment was just too big for this one. A more efficient system would have qualified us for a substantial grant (currently $2,000). In case you missed it, here is a link to the video that kind of explains what we did: th-cam.com/video/YT95aDRPJ6s/w-d-xo.html
Iris beautiful and that view. Does the lot come with it or are you renting the space? It’s a lot of money for a mobile home but you didn’t spare any expense with the remodel. One thing I would like is a fireplace but it’s perfectly beautiful as is would like to see a financial break down with the numbers.
Hello, Deborah. Thank you for watching and commenting. This home is on a rented lot in a mobile home park. Yes, this seems expensive but consider that the average stick built house around here goes for about $700,000 and this is called affordable housing. A fireplace would be great to have. Great idea. :-)
Absolutely beautiful but $240,000 for a mobile home in a mobile home park which have a disgustingly high lot rent . So this trailer has no land !!!!!!!! You did a great job but my lord thats a high mark up! You definitely found your calling.
Hi, Michelle. Thank you for your comments. I appreciate that. No, no land. This home sits on a rented pad ($500 a month). Believe it or not that is 'affordable' housing in our area. The average home on a city lot here goes for almost $800,000. It is insanity and the price just keeps going up.
Yes, of course there's gonna be several construction projects in this neighborhood because you've pretty much raised the bar with this place that you've restored and now many in that community will be provoked to step up their "renovation game". Congratulations on your sell of this place. The curb appeal alone was great advertisement and marketing. Now I look forward to meeting the standard (that you've set) in the community where I live - which is in the lower 48. Thanks for giving me great ideas on how to improve both living space and yard space. One last thing, may I ask what is the brand and color that you've used for the interior of this particular home? 👍🏾👍🏾
C. H., thanks. Appreciate you watching and commenting. 🙂 The interior paint color is Sherwin Williams -- Agreeable Gray. I use their Super Paint product in velvet sheen.

Great job guys
Kathy, thanks! 🙂
Most goegous mobile home I’ve ever seen. It’s almost like a regular house. You really got rid of the mobile home feeling.
Phillip, thank you. I appreciate you watching and commenting. 🙂
Great idea. :-)
The layout is just like the one I have. Mine is new. I think they designed it after your work.
William, this 'split' plan is very popular. There are several variations of the same basic design.
@@BCRenovationMagazine Thank you for that information..
