Great review as usual! I really like that yellow black look too! Cool intro scene

Great review! I am definitely going to keep this lens lineup in mind for my GH5 and future BGH1.

that's a beautiful intro video. I like the character from the lens. Far from flawless but I like it. Thanks again for the review!

Another great review Richard. New, fast, glass always welcome. The one question remaining is whether or not these lenses will match each other; whether or not they have the same coatings/look (which is more important IMO than ease of use when switching out lenses). Many (read almost all) lower end lenses will have quite a variation between focal lengths. Still, it looks to be a nice lens, albeit in a focal length that has the most options. Hopefully a 12mm version coming down the line....

Thanks! Good question about rendition. Unfortunately I didn't have the other lenses to compare. Agree, a wide angle like 10-12mm would be perfect

Rich! I ordered the mitakon 50 .95 for L mount. It's on back order though 😭 I loved the 17 and 25 for m43. Super dope lenses

Just found your channel as I'm diving into buying a cine lens; I have to say you have done one of the better reviews of this type of lens. I have recently purchased the Panasonic 1.7 10-25 lens for my GH5MII, I would like to add a cine lens like the 50MM, or would you recommend a different focal length. All of my video work is outdoor-based. Thank you in advance for any thoughts or suggestions.

Thanks! if you already have the 10-25 1.7, i think this 50mm T/1.0 would be great as it's quite different to your 10-25. Anything less than 35mm would be a bit too similar to your current lens

upon watching your intro i realised, your visual is more interesting than the cine lens. it was awesome video of Indian celebration.

Very good review of the lens, congratulations!!! I have also seen your review of the vision 7artisans lens, being completely honest, which one would you recommend for my GH6 and my zcam? the Vision 7artisans series or the Zhongyi series?, thank you very much for all your contributions.

thank you! Now since i haven't done any direct comparison of the lenses from these two brands.. so it's impossible to answer your question sorry

Richard, after months of your experience and talking video in my case
Would you go either S5 or GH6 ?
I never owned a Lumix but footage looks awesome
I know it's FF vs MFT but ...
Hope you can advice me somewhat

    • @TheRealRichardWong
      @TheRealRichardWong  ปีที่แล้ว +1

I think they have their pros and cons. Gh6 is more for serious video shooters, it has features like prores, USB recording, 4k120..etc. But s5 is great if you want shallow DOF and absolute high iso (if shallow DOF is not a problem). So I guess it's really depends on what you want

@@TheRealRichardWong So as I can read between the lines it's more like get both ... 😉
Now how do you like them vs Sony
      Footage wise
AF is not if my #1 concern

So many T1-T1.2 lens for MFT. Hard to choose. How is this at T1.2 compare to Sirui 55mm at T1.2?
