HELLO here is my crappy pmv YAYY. you can see i resorted to finishing most of it sketched and greyscale because there was no way this would've ever been finished in full colour (and i don't really like how the full colour scenes look tbh). there's a lot of bits i hate and feel like i could do better but that has gone for everything ive ever uploaded here so whatever

SOOO UM. story/plot overview:
key things are Alpine is in the late stages of a civil war and Night (deputy) meets Silver, who is silverstone (a magical rock i guess that causes a disease called the plague) in sentient form, who proves to have the ability to kill plagued individuals. Night then devises a plan to end the war with the aid of Silver, but it requires blocking off the silverstone caves at the Moonfalls (Alpine's speaking place(?) with StarClan) so the plague can't spread again. This was all sort of in the see you again video.
Finch is a commander for the war under Night, and they're close friends (Finch has mostly unrequited feelings for Night too). Finch's patrol succeeds at starting a rockfall, but returns to find nothing but Night's dead body from the other patrol. They return to Alpine to find that Ravenheart (leader) and Ashcloud (medic) have also been found dead, and Kitewing steps up as Alpine's new leader. According to StarClan, Night was found guilty of Ravenheart's political assassination, and Ashcloud's murder, and has been banished to the dark forest.
Finch finds it insulting and unbelievable that Alpine had turned on Night so quickly, and she becomes extremely distressed that Night had been banished to the dark forest alone.
A few weeks after her deputy's death, Finch does the worst thing she can possibly think of to deliberately secure a place for her in the dark forest at Night's side. She kills four Alpine cats, including its only apprentice, before Kitestar resorts to killing her in what becomes a perfect statement to what happens to code breakers, and a perfect excuse to introduce Peace-Keepers.
I cut this scene out, but Finch wakes in the dark forest, and reunites with Night, who says she's been banished unjustly for unproven allegations, and has a strange scar down her shoulder that she doesn't remember getting.
THATS THE BASICS i could over explain everything. i tried not to. should also mention that the events in the pmv span over a few months (eg the young kit Finch is playing with in the opening scenes is the apprentice she later kills).

The more toned down colors and creepy designs for the starclan cats really delivers how creepy starclan actually is, and I absolutely adore how the colors get more grayscales as the PMV goes along! The cats and the backgrounds are also stunning! Good job!!

I had to comment about how much i love all the greys used and how they set the tone so well, they give the story that's told a really good vibe when they are made darker during certian scenes and just make the setting seem gritty and just sort of sets the mood and vibe well, better than i think it would've with normal coloring

I think this is the first time I have seen a PMV/AMV with this song which is solely based upon a villain character which makes me very happy to see! I love this so much! Your story is so compelling it makes me want to know what happens before and after! Also I love the coloured scenes so much! I can't believe you dislike how they look!?!?!? I could praise this all day its soooo good!!!!!!!!

next time you think you hate some parts, tell your brain to shut up, because DAMN, i can die happy now knowing I've seen this lol, your stylization is amazing, and honestly i struggle so much with that, i suck at repetitiveness so although I'm happy with my art i can never portray the stories in my head as it becomes so much work, but your video inspires! and i really enjoyed watching it, definitely raised intrigue for me, and have a good day,

How do you do the slow moving thing in animation??? I’ve never been able to figure it out
It's called tweening. After you put the drawings into an editing programme, you can move the images around or add another image as overlay and move it separately from the background image
