I'm really hoping we'll one day get a novella or hopefully even a super edition showing Hollyleaf during that time. That way we could still have the surprising reveal about who killed Ashfur, while also showing what you're talking about! I did get the Hollyleaf novella recently, but I haven't read it yet because I got a lot of books. I'm hoping it will be good, please don't give me any spoilers of if it's like what I'm describing (or any other spoilers, either).
@@sagefeather3405 Oooo! I don’t read Warriors books anymore, but I would still like to know what that’s abt. Tell me how it was once you’ve read it, if you would!
@@jittercritter I'd be happy to! From the short description given on the back, it seems to be about her in the tunnels, which isn't what you were describing but still has a chance to be really good! Hollyleaf is my second favourite Warriors character, and my favourite who isn't a RiverClan minor character (I MIGHT have gotten extremely attached to that Clan in the first series and still stubbornly pay attention to them and have extensive headcanons about almost all of the RiverClan cats). I really like Hollyleaf original songs, as well as AMVs, PMVs and MAPs.
I love the colors and aesthetics as well as the subtle changes throughout it all that show the progression of the story like the pink streak on hollyleaf's face or the noise on cats.
I've watched hundreds of hollyleaf pmvs/amvs/maps and this is the only one that has actually given me chills and a reason to sympathize with her. The blood from her paws overflowing her senses is such perfect symbolism for how her guilt and negative perception of him is tearing her apart. She's not sure what to do, and can only break down as she is stuck between the idea that she did It for the good of the clan, and the idea that she broke the code and killed someone. She's so caught up and overwhelmed in her breakdown that she doesn't see those around her, she's trapped in a soundproof cage, biting at anyone who goes near like a cornered animal. She can't find who to trust anymore, she doesn't know who anyone is anymore, so she just fights for her life even if she knows she's not going to die. This is just beautiful, no doubt, thank you for making this
I love this! keeping the style of your love and the blood really shows how Holly lost touch with things around her as her faith got shattered, realising she herself is a contradiction to a code she held so high. I also love how all of her loved ones just fade into static, further going into her just losing touch.
This. THIS! OH MY GOD!!! THIS IS AMAZING Okay I have a few things to say: First of all I love how unique this is!! Most Hollyleaf AMVs/PMVs/MAPs are about her being angry, edgy, crazy etc. but this is different. You show how she actually would have felt. Guilt, regret, disconnection from others around her and fear of what might happen to her. The colours and simple yet beautiful style is like, just so nice to look at! It's a very bold colour choice yet your style makes it pleasing to look at. I love how the cats become silhouettes once she becomes disconnected. The only other cat who remains is Ashfur and she's so angry with him that she becomes numb of all other feelings and chooses to let her anger out at the gathering. I don't normally get shivers from a PMV but this got me on multiple occasions, when the cats turned to sillhouttes, that spinning shot and ESPECIALLY that last shot where she looks back to see a normal Jay and Lion but it's too late. This PMV better get popular, more people need to subscribe to you personally I don't think I've seen much of your work but after I write this comment I'm gonna watch more of your stuff!! Keep up the amazing work!!
this is stunning!!! the way you showed hollyleafs breakdown represented by every other cat (besides her and ashfur) turning to solid, staticky figures and the blood on her paws and over her eyes at the peak of her distress/the song's loudest point are really creative! the colors are really nice and that last moment of a clearer more natural palette just before the rocks fall....chefs kiss. your ashfur pmv was also really good and the first vid i found on ur channel :D i cant wait to see more pmvs like this from you!
You are the absolute best at making PMV’s. I don’t watch a lot of them because they never have interesting stories behind them, and without animation seem kind of bland. But this is absolutely stunning, you captured what Hollyleaf feels perfectly and why she did all of those actions. The ending gave me chills when the style turned realistic, I’m guessing this meant that the curse that Ashfur gave her had gone away, but when she turned back, the cave entrance was already collapsing. Just a little theory there. I can’t stop rewatching this. Amazing job.
Yup! In the first pmv ‘your love’ the fire scene and ashfur’s death was in the realistic style to show that it was breaking of the fantasy world, and this is meant to symbolize that while ashfur’s death yanked him out of the fantasy hollyleaf was still stuck in that world and overcome with grief and regret and when she’s in the tunnel and it collapses she sees clearly but it’s too late n such!
the way you did hollyleaf's expressions is just amazing, you can really see the confusion and heartbreak in her eyes. The blurring of the others around her, the constant lingering shade of ashfur, the blood spilling from her paws, it was all really telling and heartbreaking. What sold it for me is the ending where you changed the stark, unnatural colors to natural colors as the rocks cover the cave. It's like a return to reality, her seeing through all of her emotions for a brief moment as she is closed off from her brothers and the outside world. Really good stuff!
I don't really have anything to say here that hasn't already been said, but I will say that I like how Hollyleaf looks so spiky throughout the entire pmv, like she's stressed to the point that she's fluffed up. Dunno if it was intentional, but either way, it really helps with the intense feel of this PMV. Amazing job!
The sequel we all wanted and none of us deserved. Absolutely stunning, 10/10 work. Both of these parts were amazing in separate and even better combined, fabulous work.
I've been watching both this and Your Love on repeat and I have some ThoughtsTM. I know plenty of other people have said this before me, but this is a fantastic, realistic look at how Hollyleaf's killing of Ashfur affected her; the fact that the cats around her (especially ones she cared about) turned into static? That is an INCREDIBLE way of portraying dissociation!! And the fact that she's the only one who can see Ashfur really does a lot to convey the internal struggle she's going through; her whole life feels uprooted, she doesn't know who she can trust or who to turn to, and as such she doesn't see that the ones she loves are worried about her and just want to understand what's going on. I really like the idea that only she can see the metaphorical blood on her paws, and the fact that the blood eventually makes its way across her eyes - blinding her to all else except what she's done and what she's learned. (It's a neat little continuity from Your Love concerning when Lionpaw scars Ashfur - that's when Ashfur's perception of the world and Squirrelflight really takes a dive and where he begins to act with genuine malice.) And the emotions are just absolutely spectacular. You can feel Hollyleaf's grief, the horror at what she's done, the betrayal she feels as a result of what she learned during the fire, and you can really see how all of these combined factors work to throw her entire world into a tailspin. I absolutely adore the scene where she looks down at the Gathering, and all she can see is static and basic shapes, showing just how blinded by her pain and her fear she is. It hurts. You can feel how much it destroys her. Something else that gets me is that, at the end when she's made it to the tunnels, THAT'S when Jayfeather and Lionblaze (and effectively, Hollyleaf's world) comes back into focus, but it's too late for her to do anything. That part really got me; she focused enough to realize what situation she'd just put herself in, but was unable to get herself out of it in time. That's heartbreaking. All in all this is a fantastic Hollyleaf PMV that's incredibly original and gorgeous!! I love the colours and the whole "dreamworld" idea - I really, really liked the way the artstyles switch in this one at the end and in Your Love during the fire. That's so neat!!
wait correct me if im wrong because if you did it on purposd thats so smart i noticed the scar placed across ashfur's eyes, and i looked at the ashfur video you did where its caused by lionpaw/blaze. thats around the part where he goes completely crazy. is it to symbolize hes been blinded by sadness?
You’re the first person to get that!!!! Yep, ashfur’s scar is meant to represent him being blinded by sadness/jealously, and hollyleaf‘s stain is meant to represent she was blinded by what she did!
The transition between the previous PMV and this one gave me literal chills. The emotions, the visuals, all of it was just stunning! This has got to be one of my favorite PMVs of all time!
Ok but this and the Ashfur Deja Vu PMV are like my favorite pieces of fanmade warriors media ever? I’ve seen them both so many times, I don’t even know anymore lol. Sad to see you ended up dropping this series, but so incredibly grateful for the art you did make! It’s phenomenal to see your gorgeous work, keep at it!
3:55 the way you draw hollyleaf's emotions is so good. you can just tell in this 1 shot how angry but also just fearful she is. it's insane also wow i love the blinding colors for the 'it's all so incredibly loud' to match the overwhelming nature of hollyleaf's reality after she kills ashfur
THIS!! WAS SO GOOD OMFG. The emotions this pmv conveyed, as hollyleaf's despair continued to grow the more the cats around her began to get static-y and unrecognizable. I loved this so much.
YOOO THAT WAS FABULOUS! The designs really compliment the song, the song fits so well with the characters, the fantastic art fits perfectly with everything!! You've outdone yourself ahhhh
I wasn't sure if it was on purpose or not at first, but I find it interesting how her outlines turn into the same color as Ashfur's blood around the end, like she was more and more consumed by guilt over it / it was another representation of that taking over and overwhelming her? :o
I love how in the gathering, when all the people start getting more static-y it lines up with a high pitched screech in the background of the song. Neat!
I keep coming back to this PMV and the more I watch the Ashfur one and then this one just appeals to me so much. Both PMVs feel like I'm actually witnessing the events in the book as if it were a show and then a music track fades in after something happens if that makes sense? Similar to cartoons having musical moments. Your PMVs will always be a favorite of mine and I can't thank you enough for bringing them to the community.
The way i just noticed the video starts with the song from ashfur's video before switching is such a nice detail! These new and old warrior cat pmvs have really gotten me into the community more ^^
Woah. The colors were well chosen. I don’t know how you did that tv fuzz effect but it looks incredible like hollyleaf’s mask of blood. Excellently styalized.
i dont normally comment due to bots and stuff but i feel like mentioning this is worth it one little detail i just noticed is the fact hollyleaf is the only one with her claws out. its such a tiny detail but i think it really represents both the fear, the irrational aggression and actions, and the anger at both everything that's happened, the secret being revealed like how it was, and what she's done to ashfur really setting her off. great animation ! love it
I usually feel meh about holly leaf pmv’s/amv’s unless they are au’s. This one was really neat though, I see so many and even though for me it was a bit difficult to watch since how hot the pink is I get that it’s part of the atmosphere. It’s unique and I like it which is great since I wouldn’t say I like hollyleaf all that much but I do like for the most part how the pmv puts it.
okay, i don’t normally comment, like, at all, since this is a shared account but,, i literally HAD to comment this is TOO GOOD,,, I LITERALLY CAN’T,,,,,,, BOTH PMVS ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL THEY’RE BOTH SO ORIGINAL AND I LOVE HOW YOU STARTED THIS PMV LEADING OFF OF “YOUR LOVE” I AM LITERALLY SPEECHLESS TO THE POINT WHERE I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO PUT HERE, I JUST LOVE BOTH OF THESE PMVS SO MUCH????? EDIT: OK I GOT MY WORDS BACK “YOUR LOVE” WAS LIKE, REALLY INTERESTING TO WATCH BECAUSE OF ASHFUR SEEING HIS FANTASY ONLY AND NOT HIS REALITY, BUT THIS IS SO SAD (IN A GOOD WAY)????? HOLLYLEAF IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS AND YOU DID HER SO MUCH JUSTICE THIS AND “YOUR LOVE” ARE THE BEST PMVS IVE SEEN IM NOT EVEN KIDDING EDIT 2: I FORGOT TO ADD THAT YOU ACTUALLY MADE HOLLYLEAF’S STORY EMOTIONAL???? IVE NEVER SEEN ANYBODY DO THAT EVER. LIKE, AT THE PART WHEN SHE REVEALS THE SECRET, ALL OF THE CATS SUDDENLY TURNING INTO TV STATIC HONESTLY ALMOST MADE ME CRY, THAT’S HOW GOOD THIS IS
All of the interpretations of this are so amazing! One thing that comes to my mind as well is that everyone turning into shapes reminds me of derealization, which is a form of dissociation where nothing feels real anymore and it can put you in a state where your actions are more extreme. When nothing feels real, you can’t grasp the concept that your actions have the consequences they do, you just lash out as you try to make the feeling go away. This video really captures that feeling of desperation
👌This👌is👌true👌perfection👌I love how this really shows HollyLeaf's downward spiral after killing AshFur. It's a thing I don't see in most videos like this. Also the fact that her outline changes to the color of the blood at the end is such a cool subtle detail, and that's what you're so good at. Taking these subtle but amazing details like the color of a characters outline or a slight color change in the background. A M A Z I N G
Man, everything about this was just brilliant, i love the way you displayed this part in the books, its so mucn better than in the books! I love how you drew all the face expressions, and that dazed look on her face when Squirrelflight and (in assuming) Leafpool phased out, that was amazing! Also the way thay ashfur kept popping up like a hologram, which is kind of like representing that its just a figment of her consious crying out agaisnt her. Amazing ❤
The way you use colour is stunning, it's so jarring to see really complex emotions in a bright, sunny palette; it's almost sickly sweet. Every frame is so expressive, it really hits hard. Reminds me how raw this weird book about cute little murder cats is. Amazing work, I am shooketh
already made an extremely long comment a year ago but I rewatched and just realized something and holy fuck the blood on her paws makes me think that she was terrified that anyone would be able to look at her and realize her secret. like that feeling when you're hiding something and you're just convinced everyone will look at you and see right through you? that also really explains why she spilled it at the gathering: she thought everyone knew anyways, she was trapped in such a horrible echo chamber because she never reached out and oh my god
Holy Hell! This is absolutely amazing! The art, The story telling, The use of amazing songs (coming from a fellow GA fan). It's all so AMAZING! Great job and keep up the great work!
I am. Absolutely blown away by this gorgeous PMV,,, It's such a good follow up to the previous one aaa!! It's such an amazing detail how eventually she stops seeing how others feel n just starts doing what she feels she HAS to do, n it's so awesomely represented by everyone she knows merely becoming silhouettes!! I love how Ashfur's blood is covering her eyes, it just gives me the thought of her judgement n logic being muddied n clouded by rage n betrayal,,, The use of static too just helps me feel the same raw emotions Holly does n goddamn it works! N the gathering scene gave me so many chills, just knowing who the silhouettes are n how they feel without even seeing their faces just hits so hard. And the part where Holly was spinning??? GOOSEBUMPSSSSS!!! Keep up the good work!!
This is so good! It's such an interesting take on Hollyleaf's inner turmoil & I very much got "Tell-Tale Heart" vibes from the permanent blood stains she saw herself spreading This is honestly so creative!

Also having a two part series for Ashfur and Hollyleaf is an astonishing idea and the way you segawyed it was immaculate

Oooo!
I love how the transition from a neon words with static characters into the real world shows her coming back to reality at the last moment
This is just beautiful, no doubt, thank you for making this
At the beginning when it was all staticky not because of the pink blood I thought...
*A BODY HAS BEEN DISCOVERED!*
THIS IS AMAZING
Okay I have a few things to say:
First of all I love how unique this is!!
I just noticed a real small detail. In the very beginning, Ashfur has a tuft of Hollyleaf's fur in his claws. That's real grand!
Edit: Forgot a bit
this is stunning!!! the way you showed hollyleafs breakdown represented by every other cat (besides her and ashfur) turning to solid, staticky figures and the blood on her paws and over her eyes at the peak of her distress/the song's loudest point are really creative! the colors are really nice and that last moment of a clearer more natural palette just before the rocks fall....chefs kiss. your ashfur pmv was also really good and the first vid i found on ur channel :D i cant wait to see more pmvs like this from you!
(It's a neat little continuity from Your Love concerning when Lionpaw scars Ashfur - that's when Ashfur's perception of the world and Squirrelflight really takes a dive and where he begins to act with genuine malice.)
And the emotions are just absolutely spectacular.
That's so neat!!
wait correct me if im wrong because if you did it on purposd thats so smart
i noticed the scar placed across ashfur's eyes, and i looked at the ashfur video you did where its caused by lionpaw/blaze. thats around the part where he goes completely crazy.
is it to symbolize hes been blinded by sadness?
You’re the first person to get that!!!! Yep, ashfur’s scar is meant to represent him being blinded by sadness/jealously, and hollyleaf‘s stain is meant to represent she was blinded by what she did!
thats really cool and unique! i adore that idea!
How Do U Art oh my goodness that is the best concept ever! You are so creative!!!
How Do U Art I love that idea! :D
1:32
He's like : "yo why-"
The transition between the previous PMV and this one gave me literal chills. The emotions, the visuals, all of it was just stunning! This has got to be one of my favorite PMVs of all time!
I love how when the blood touches anyone they all turn blurry and I also love how hollyleaf’s lineart gets lighter and lighter, it’s really cool!
It’s all so incredibly neon. I love it.
You know, without their expressions, it sort of looks like Lionblaze and Jayfeather are chasing Hollyleaf *away* at the end. That's pretty cool.
Also wowie, that was fast.
I could def imagine Ashfur being the type to invade Holly's dreams as a ghost and just sit there, staring
3:55 the way you draw hollyleaf's emotions is so good. you can just tell in this 1 shot how angry but also just fearful she is. it's insane
also wow i love the blinding colors for the 'it's all so incredibly loud' to match the overwhelming nature of hollyleaf's reality after she kills ashfur
The blood on the eyes is some A+ level symbolism there.
1:28 I honestly thought Ashfur was wearing sunglasses for a hot second and I don't know why.
THIS!! WAS SO GOOD OMFG. The emotions this pmv conveyed, as hollyleaf's despair continued to grow the more the cats around her began to get static-y and unrecognizable. I loved this so much.
This made me think that every character has their own song that rotates around them constantly
Yup! It's very subtle!
i love those vibrant colors omg it makes it stand out so well!
(Read in awful Spongebob impression)
🌊🌊🌊I'M READY, I'M READY, I'M READY, I'M READY- 🌊🌊🌊
i read it to the tune of the ajr song fdbjfadkfb
@@gryffenchicken5462 LMFAO
I like how "I can feel your love" switches to this song, that's so cool 😊
EXCITEMENT NOISES...
EDIT: THAT WAS SO AMAZING!!! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS...
I love how in the gathering, when all the people start getting more static-y it lines up with a high pitched screech in the background of the song. Neat!
love how the beginning of this one is the end of "your love"
I keep coming back to this PMV and the more I watch the Ashfur one and then this one just appeals to me so much. Both PMVs feel like I'm actually witnessing the events in the book as if it were a show and then a music track fades in after something happens if that makes sense? Similar to cartoons having musical moments. Your PMVs will always be a favorite of mine and I can't thank you enough for bringing them to the community.
This is beautiful! This as well as the Ashfur PMV are my all time favorites to watch!
The way i just noticed the video starts with the song from ashfur's video before switching is such a nice detail! These new and old warrior cat pmvs have really gotten me into the community more ^^
OHH SO THIS IS LIKE A SEQUEL OF THE YOUR LOVE PMV YOU MADE??? THAT'S SO COOL
Woah. The colors were well chosen. I don’t know how you did that tv fuzz effect but it looks incredible like hollyleaf’s mask of blood. Excellently styalized.
thankfully my editing software had an effect that I can slap on effects to!
oh. my god. I watched the ashfur pmv earlier and didn’t know you were making another pmv!! These are so stunning and I love your designs omg
I feel literal panic when I watch this, its amazing how you handled this
You did a wonderful job showing Holly’s breakdown!
i dont normally comment due to bots and stuff but i feel like mentioning this is worth it
one little detail i just noticed is the fact hollyleaf is the only one with her claws out. its such a tiny detail but i think it really represents both the fear, the irrational aggression and actions, and the anger at both everything that's happened, the secret being revealed like how it was, and what she's done to ashfur really setting her off. great animation ! love it
I usually feel meh about holly leaf pmv’s/amv’s unless they are au’s.
Absolutely gorgeous! I’m in love with the colors, the expressions, the dream sequence with Ashfur’s ghost, just beautiful!
okay, i don’t normally comment, like, at all, since this is a shared account but,, i literally HAD to comment
this is TOO GOOD,,, I LITERALLY CAN’T,,,,,,, BOTH PMVS ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
THEY’RE BOTH SO ORIGINAL AND I LOVE HOW YOU STARTED THIS PMV LEADING OFF OF “YOUR LOVE”
I AM LITERALLY SPEECHLESS TO THE POINT WHERE I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO PUT HERE, I JUST LOVE BOTH OF THESE PMVS SO MUCH?????
EDIT: OK I GOT MY WORDS BACK
“YOUR LOVE” WAS LIKE, REALLY INTERESTING TO WATCH BECAUSE OF ASHFUR SEEING HIS FANTASY ONLY AND NOT HIS REALITY, BUT THIS IS SO SAD (IN A GOOD WAY)????? HOLLYLEAF IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS AND YOU DID HER SO MUCH JUSTICE
THIS AND “YOUR LOVE” ARE THE BEST PMVS IVE SEEN IM NOT EVEN KIDDING
EDIT 2: I FORGOT TO ADD THAT YOU ACTUALLY MADE HOLLYLEAF’S STORY EMOTIONAL????
I love that it continued from Ashfur PMV, great job!! cant wait for the next one!
Amazing ❤
Can’t wait to see this!
Edit: Better then I imagined!
I love the detail where you gave her the streak of blood across her eyes like ashfurs scar!!!
ooh the parallel between the blood on hollyleaf’s face and the scratch on ashfur’s. gorgeous. i love the imagery in this
1:30
[insert ashfur looking like has (sun)glasses on]
These two PMVs are some of the best I’ve ever seen, amazing job!
This story broke my heart-
Title: “So Incredibly Loud”
You: *so incredibly fast at drawing hhh*
Edit: and good! Dang it’s epic, great job!
Holy Hell! This is absolutely amazing! The art, The story telling, The use of amazing songs (coming from a fellow GA fan). It's all so AMAZING! Great job and keep up the great work!
Dang I've probably heard this song a million times and it STILL gives me the chills
Finally, a PMV that doesn’t justify her actions, but still explains them.
Hollyleaf * turns off Ashfurs radio playing Your Love 24/7 *
Also Hollyleaf: * uses the same radio to play Its All So Incredibly Loud 24/7 *
I love how Ashfur's blood is covering her eyes, it just gives me the thought of her judgement n logic being muddied n clouded by rage n betrayal,,,
The use of static too just helps me feel the same raw emotions Holly does n goddamn it works! N the gathering scene gave me so many chills, just knowing who the silhouettes are n how they feel without even seeing their faces just hits so hard. And the part where Holly was spinning??? GOOSEBUMPSSSSS!!!
Keep up the good work!!
I WANT TO MARRY HOLLYLEAF’S CLAWS OHMYGOD
This is so good! It's such an interesting take on Hollyleaf's inner turmoil & I very much got "Tell-Tale Heart" vibes from the permanent blood stains she saw herself spreading
This is honestly so creative!
This is so amazing AAAAH
Omg ur incredibly fast
Also why didn’t I get notifed
AGAIN! This is just as stunning!!
Love the style of it!!
Holly leaf has such an awesome story, I love her character :)
This animation shows it well!
blessed. you pump our content so fast!
one of my favourite songs from GA's new album and you made it even better
Bro this is an incredible series...
Shaksjsh this was in my recommendations all of a sudden and it looks even cooler the second time
The designs are style are incredible. It does a great job of showing her overwhelm
I LOVE THIS!!!! Hollyleaf has never been my favorite cat but I love this video about her! It kind of opens my eyes to appreciate her more
I LOVE THIS SONG FOR HOLLYLEAF SO MUCH!!! I ADORE the continuity between this video and your last, its super cool!!! The imagery of Ashfur's blood blinding her better judgement is also A++++! Glass Animals is my favorite band, and I am honestly so glad that they are this popular in the Warriors fandom, it makes me really happy to see! :D Very interested to see how your art progresses, I'm definitely a new fan!
you are legit an absolute genius with the two pmv's im- ive been so obsessed with them,, i cant stop coming back to rewatch them :')))
AAA, this is amazing! I love the fade out from the Ashfur pmv I can feel you’re love to this one! It’s amazing!
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING YOUR WORK IS SO WELL MADE AHHHHH BEAUTIFUL :00000
God this is GORGEOUS
The expressions and effects are 👌👌👌👌👌👌
BUT WOW THIS IS SOO AWESOME I REALLY LIKE THE VERY LAST PART
god i love glass animals!!! this is one of the top songs from the new album, and this art IS AMAZING!! keep it up ❤️
I love the art style. It's so incredibly striking.
