Im on my second QV in Montreal green. I had a 2017 QV in tricoat red and I was living in Chicago at that time and got the DWS06 tires for my car at that time and had no issues in light snow. I had to go to Wisconsin for work and had no issues. people stared at the car like it was some sort of a starship. Back in those dose in 2017 nobody had ever seen one and I was one of the original few owners.
Incredible tires on my Stelvio i love them also and on the QV i was back and forth between these and the Michelin Pilot All Seasons but im happy i went with my gut this time around these DWS06 are incredible
Just put these tires on my 335i after watching another one of your videos. Alot less power than your QV of course and I am in NC where we don't get as much icy-snowy conditions as you but this makes me feel super confident in my decision. I already noticed a big improvement in ride quality and handling coming from Advan Sport A/S's. Don't think I have ever in my life been actually excited about tires before.
These tires are really good, I've been driving them for 6 years and they're still in excellent condition. snow rain asphalt holds everything up perfectly. It also holds up well at high speed. I recommend 100%. Dws06 ☝️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
hands down i am a believer that these new DWS06 Plus are the best all seaon high performance tire you can get. I had the Michelin Pilot All Season 4 on other cars and there were terrible.
I just drove my '17 GQV down from Chicago to Atlanta last week during a snow/ice/rainstorm on these DWS06s with -3.3 degrees of camber up front and -2.5 degrees out back (track alignment) and it was terrifying! Really curious about the programming of the rear diff making the car less twitchy under throttle and if those changes can be applied to the earlier cars like the GTam suspension module. Sure would make it easier to drive in the dry on the track.
Wow that must have been a white knuckle drive. The early cars diff is horrible if you ask me my 23 works the way it should it might be different clutch packs inside plus can bus programming but it’s night and day. Watch my older snow videos to see how difficult both cars angles are under throttling and my 18 had a dedicated snow tires
@@autofanaticcars she’s had me completely crossed up on a cool, dry morning commute into Chicago merging onto the highway before on the same tires in Race mode. Nothing like facing a concrete wall at 80 MPH on full opposite lock! I kept it in Naturale from Chicago to Louisville when the snow finally turned to rain. First time I’d ever driven in Naturale.
The MY2023/2024 Models QV have a different kind of differential to the MY2017/2018 onwards. I had a MY2017 Giulia Q on Pilot Alpine PA4 tyres and it sucked in the snow. Got stuck twice. Ordered a MY2024 Stelvio Q last week after going with BMW for 3 years.
My car is a 23 still with Ediff but obviously programmed properly now the 24 use a mechanical LSD. My 18 QV on the Alpins was outright deadly in the snow
Brother!! Thank you for clearing my doubts. I am thinking getting 2023 QuadF , being that I live in the Hudson Valley and owning a 1976 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce for ever . But my everyday driver is Subaru outback 2002 with 300k best ever but the most boring. I live in Daytona Winter months , but I drive I95 5 x a year . A keep my Spider on FL, I am totally Italian style dude, clothes, ladies etc. I was thinking of a Corvette GS 2019 as well ...Any suggestions bro or go Alfa QuadF. Thank you!!!!!
Not a lot of snow - it’s all relative - 1/4” of snow here in North Texas, and that’s a lot! Was always fun to drive in snow when I lived in North Jersey. Agree, the Continental DWS06 Plus are great All Season tires. Happy Motoring 🤠

Great video. Sorry I could not catch if you installed the continental on the original wheels as Pirellis PZero or you had to buy new wheels for the Continental all season? Thx
Whoa this is the exact video I needed to see. In Portland we get minimal snow, but when we do its conditions like the one you showed in this video. We do get alot of rain, so was worried about the Alfa in slippery conditions only being RWD vs AWD. I am cross shopping this with an e53 amg currently.
How would you describe the difference between these tires and the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4? I have a 2020 Giulia TI Sport and after researching and reading forums I have a bad case of analysis paralysis. Some people say the conti's are great, then some people say they kill the steering feel and the A/S 4's are a lot better. I'm in NYC so I'm not too worried about snow, I'd rather have the best performer/best feeling tire. Thanks!
Hi,,I have a 2018 QV....Normally how many miles require a oil change????I looked up on some fourms they said 3000 to 5000 miles? But others say 10000 miles ....Is that true?
What size are you on? I got Michelin Crossclimate 2s last year but they make the car stand way too high even though I used the OEM size. They’re sketchy with sideways grip too.
Picking up the exact same spec and year tomorrow morning. How did the detailing work out? I have two to choose from, but one had some decent scratches in the clear coat. Wonder how you found detailing the car to get the swirls out on yours. Quality of paint and clear coat on the carbon roof allow you to clean all that up?
These cars are easy to fix it just takes a ton of time. Most carbon roofs are badly trashed no idea what morons are in QC to leave trail marks so deep.
That road looks wet not icy. I can see your tire tracks which you would not see if really ice. No all season tire will grip on ice. Only a dedicated snow tire will grip on ice. I have over 60 years driving in Michigan winters. I know I when I see it. Sorry I'm spectical but my experience doubts your video. Nice car.
The storm that Phil and I got hit with on the East coast dropped a few inches of snow, and then it switched over to sleet and rain which froze on top of the snow. So yeah, he was definitely driving on ice. The tracks that you saw were probably in the base of snow below the ice after he compressed it with the QV.
exactly Joe I was driving at 6:30 AM and it is now all frozen everything that was plowed since then it was crazy slick this morning when I filmed this video and yes it was snow and ice combined and very bad out this morning.
hmmm maybe reach out to a tuner in Europe and ask im sure it could be done but there is also a possibility they upgraded the clutch packs in the diff it is totally different and actually works now as intended the earlier cars were like an on and off switch with a delay.
Wrong my last Giulia leaked water at cowl and destroyed the entire electrical system and hacked dealership techs magnified things destroying the car’s reliability

You are the reason why I got my Quadrifoglio and I was heartbroken when you sold it but glad you are back in a new model
Awesome 👍
Love the stelvio it's been a beaut. This channel is the reason i pulled the trigger on getting it. be safe out there
Awesome to hear keep enjoying your Alfa Romeo
You bought and sold QV’s, but please don’t sell this one because to me it seems like deep down the Alfa is your fav car.
Definitely one of my favorites but I have lots of cool cars all unique and awesome 😎
@@autofanaticcarsHave you driven a 2024 with Limited Slip and not a TVD?
Love these tires! I just p/u a 24 M2 and had these tires installed before bringing the car home! Thanks
Nice!! Good move

Glad you like them!
I just did this yesterday with the stelvio qv in the snow, 4 wheel drifting is fun
Fun
Great video Phil!
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks a lot for this video😊
Most welcome 😊
Have DWS06+ on my '21 Stelvio and Audi A4 QUATTRO. Best all weather tires out there.

Im still shocked how much better my 23 is verse my old 18. These Continental tires are incredible

A fresh set of DWS 06 and Quattro on snow is nothing but fun. You can actually feel the tread pattern bite into the snow.
